Chapter 37

Hero's pov

I've spent ever day with Jo all of us took a trip up to the cabin and had a blast riding jet skis, hiking and teaching Jo to ride the bike. Not to mention the mind blowing sex we have every night. It's already the 4th of July and I will officially be leaving for Boston in 6 damn days. I tried to talk the coach into letting me skip it but then I wouldn't be able to start and of course Jo found out about it and threw a damn fit. This last month has flown by too damn fast. I don't know what I'm going to do without seeing her everyday. Felix got the call from coach too they want him to come in early so he is coming with me when I leave. Mercy was upset but she understood just like Jo does. That doesn't mean me and him haven't been moping around for the past few days as each minute drew closer to the day we leave our girls. We are back at the cabin now to celebrate the 4th of July with our families. "That was awesome sis" Mercy says excitedly as she takes her helmet off. "I know I love it" Jo says fixing her hair. "And at first you didn't even want to let me drive you on it" I say chuckling as I wrap my arms around her. "Are you done being a mopey brat?" she says sticking her tongue out at me as her and Mercy giggle. "Yes" I say pouting as she swats at my arm playfully I scoop her up flipping her over my shoulder as I smack her ass. "Hero you drop me your dead" she says giggling as Mercy shakes her head laughing. "I see how it is Mercy no help here" she says as I tickle her side with my other hand. "Hey he's smiling for the first time in days let's not lose this" Mercy says giggling. I put Jo down and crash my lips against hers as I kiss her passionately and she grips my neck holding me tight. "What was that for?" she says smiling up at me. "I love you baby" I tell her kissing her forehead. "And I love you" she says kissing my neck as I hold her tighter. "Oi someone help with the fire place" Felix says coming in from outside. "Where are our parents?" Jo asks him looking around. "Getting drunk on their fancy wine" he says chuckling. "Yeah there just excited they only have a year left and then freedom from us" Mercy says giggling. "Sorry your mum couldn't come mate" I tell Felix. "Nah it's all good I'd rather be here anyways than with my own family" he says shrugging. "So you guys excited yet about going off to Harvard?" Jo asks us smiling. "Yeah love I'm excited I'll just miss you so bloody much" I say swallowing the lump in my throat that occurs everytime I think about leaving her. "I'm excited too but I'll miss you Mercy. I really can't remember a day that I haven't at least seen you once even before we were a couple" Fekix says to Mercy. "I know that feeling" I say smiling at Jo. Even when I was pranking her I still had seen Jo every single day since the day she was born. "Ok let's not be sad we still have some days for fun here" Jo says biting her lip as she bats her lashes up at me. Fuck she knows what that does to me. "Josephine" I sigh running my thumb across her bottom lip as she continues to bite it. "Bruv later for that" Felix says chuckling. We all head outside and I help Felix start a fire in the outdoor fireplace. "Steaks are ready let's eat" my dad says smiling as my mum and Elizabeth put bowls of sides on the table. Stephen comes out with a platter of cheeseburgers, hotdogs and chicken placing them on the table near the buns and condiments. "I'm starving" I say grabbing Jo's hand as we sit down at the table and we all grab our food and drinks. "I'm starving too but not for food" she says whispering in my ear quickly biting my earlobe. My dick instantly hardens as I squirm in my seat making Jo smirk at me. Alright baby girl game on. I notice our parents deep in conversation as Mercy and Felix talk and laugh while eating. We all finish eating and talking as we laugh about random things. "Mercy, Jo you ready for a surprise?" I say excitedly as the sky darkens. "I hate surprises Hero" Jo says trying to hide her smile. "No you act like you hate them but secretly you love them. Sort of like me and you at first" I say chuckling at her. "Well I love surprises" Mercy says excitedly. "I'm glad you do" Felix says exstatically. "We are going to call it a night you kids be safe. We love you all" my mum says giving us all a hug. "Love you guys night" we tell them as they all head inside. "Guess they don't care about the fireworks this year?" Jo says sadly. "Nah love they are giving us some time alone" I tell her caressing her hair behind her ear as I kiss her neck holding her from behind. As the fireworks start up I stare at Jo in awe as the different lights glow across her beautiful face her mouth open in awe as her eyes shine in wonder. "Your missing the show" she says breaking me from my trance as I smile down at her and then look up at the sky. As the show ends the sky lights up with M and J we love you always F and H in bright colors as the girls smile and jump up and down giggling. "I like that surprise" she says looking up at me. "Well I hope you like this one more" I say handing her and envelope. "Bruv you were supposed to tell me when" Felix groans as he smiles at Mercy and hands her an envelope saying "this is the real surprise." I watch as Jo's eyes light up as she opens the envelope as soon as she sees what's inside she gasps as tears spring in to her eyes. "Boston seriously you got us tickets to visit you's" Mercy says exstatically. "Is that a yeah" Felix says nervously. "Duh come here babe" she says pulling him in for a kiss. "Jo say something" I say nervously as she just stares at the ticket in her hand. "You really want me there so soon this is for fall break?" she says anxiously. "I want you there sooner but this is the fastest I could get you there without jeapordising your school work" I say nervously. Fuck does she not want to come? "Hero I love you" she says smiling as she wraps her arms around me. "Does that mean you're gonna come?" I ask her anxiously. "Of course I'm going are you crazy" she says giggling as she kisses me gently and then deepens the kiss her tongue sliding into my mouth as I caress mines against hers. "Maybe we should change that" Felix says smirking as he picks Mercy up. I roll my eyes as Jo laughs at them until it is just me and her under the stars. "I can't believe you had me take my panties off at the dinner table" she says giggling as she blushes. Not long after she is fast asleep her light snores soothing me. How the hell am I supposed to do this? It is literally going to feel like a piece of me is missing when I leave. I just have to remember I am doing this for our future. To make sure we have the best life we can possibly have together. I'm so fucking happy her and Mercy are able to come visit me and Felix for Thanksgiving since we don't get a break til Christmas from football. I know it's only a month sooner but that is a lifetime to me right now. Plus while they are there maybe they can do their college admissions interviews. The faster I know Jo is for sure going to be at Harvard with me next year the better I'll feel about being away from her for months at a time. My thoughts swirling through my head I fall asleep with my girl in my arms. The place I want to be for the rest of my life.
