Chapter 12

Hero's pov

I get to Jo's house and knock on the door her dad answers and says "hey Hero I don't think Mercy is here right now." "I'm actually here to see Josephine Mr. Langford" I say to him. "Oh I see" he says with his brows furrowing. All of a sudden I hear Jo say "dad whose at the door?" as she runs over to him and then she see's me standing there and her dad says "it's Hero here to see you I guess." "Um yeah dad ok" she says. Her dad looks at me with a little smirk and walks into the living room. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in when she shuts the door and walks near me with her arms crossed over her chest. "What?" She asks me. "We need to talk" I tell her. "So talk then" she says. I sigh and run my fingers through my hair and say "you need to know your more to me than some stupid point in a book or any conquest you think I'm trying to get by being with you." "That's the thing here I don't know that" she says exasperated. I grab her hand and put it to my chest where my heart is beating so fast I  say "don't you feel what my heart does when I'm near you." Her hands still on my chest as she sighs saying "I can feel it." "Please don't let this be the end of us we haven't even tried to begin yet" I beg her. She pulls her hand away and my heart breaks from the lost of contact but then she looks up at me and smiles as she wraps her arms around my waist and snuggles her head into my chest saying "I'm sorry for running earlier." I kiss the top of her head and say "no love I'm sorry for being such a wanker and even messing with that disgusting book in the first place." "I don't want to hear about that damn book ever again" she says still in my arms. I put my hand on her face making her look at me and say "you won't ever have to again I promise" and then kiss her. We stand in her yard kissing passionately our lips molded perfectly together as our tongues caress each others she lets out a moan and my pants become tighter around my growing erection. This is what she does to me one look,touch or word from this stubborn, sassy, beautiful girl and I am an instant ball of horny teenager. I pull away reluctantly and she pouts making me laugh I say "love we can't do this on your front lawn." She giggles and looks down at me were she can see my obvious boner bulging from my pants. "Did I do that?" She asks giggling. "Fuck yeah your the only one who makes him that happy" I tease her. She blushes and says "oops my bad." "Let me take you out tonight" I ask her.

Jo's pov

I am lying in bed contemplating what I am going to do with Hero and our situation. He hasn't even tried calling me so I am getting pretty pissed off when I hear a knock on the door downstairs. I hear my dad talking to someone so I go down and say "dad whose here?" I peek around him and see Hero standing there as my dad says "it's Hero here to see you I guess." "Um yeah dad ok" I say as he walks away I close the door and face Hero saying "what?" "We need to talk" he says letting out a breath. "So talk then" I tell him. He sighs running his hands through his hair saying "you need to know your more to me than some stupid point in a book or any conquest you think I'm trying to get by being with you." "That's the thing here I don't know that" I say exasperated. He grabs my hand and places it on his heart saying "don't you feel what you do to me when I'm near you." I can feel the fast rhythm his heart is making each beat matches my own racing heart. "I can feel it" I tell him. "Please don't let this be the end of us we haven't even tried to begin yet" he pleads with me. He's right I can't let his past define us and I can't let others actions influence my decision. My heart wants him and I can't help what I feel about him. I pull away and see his eyes get teary until I wrap my little arms around his waist and snuggle my head into his chest saying "I'm sorry for running earlier." He kisses the top of my head stroking my hair he says "no love I'm sorry for being such a wanker and even messing with that disgusting book in the first place." "I don't ever want to talk about that damn book again" I tell him. He places his hand under my chin making me look into his gorgeous greenish-blue eyes he says "you won't ever have to again I promise." Then he leans forward and our lips connect as we start to passionately kiss our lips and tongues caressing each others I moan and Hero pulls away so I pout making him laugh and say "we can't do this here love on your front lawn." I giggle when I realize what I was just implying and then look down and see Hero's apparent bulge in his pants. "Did I do that?" I ask nervously. He laughs and says "fuck yeah your the only one who makes him that happy." I blush and say "oops my bad." "Let me take you out tonight" he asks me. "Where are we going?" I say. "it's a surprise love" he says smiling. "I don't like surprises" I say pouting. "Well too bad you'll love this one baby girl" he says pulling me in for a sweet kiss. Just then my dad opens the door and starts smiling at us. "Anything you two want to tell me?" He asks. "Um yeah dad me and Hero are dating now" I tell him. Hero looks nervous but is surprised when my dad pulls him in for a hug and says "I always knew it would be you." "What dad what are you talking about?" I stutter. "Oh nothing dear just guy stuff" he says dismissing me. "I'm going to get ready now" I say leaving the two guys to talk downstairs.
