Chapter 38

Jo's pov

We ended up staying at the cabin for the rest of the week. Our parents left the next day after the 4th of July and made us promise to be safe. I have been trying to keep positive and not let my emotions get the best of me. Me and Hero have spent every night tangled together as we explore each other's bodies and relish every kiss and touch. He is officially leaving tomorrow. Me and Mercy have been trying to come up with ideas for a going away party for them but so far my heart hasn't been in it seeing as I don't really want him to go. But I can't let that show or he would literally choose me over his career and I can't be that selfish. He's so decided on what he wants I envy him the only thing I'm passionate about is singing and dancing but unfortunately my parents are strictly against that idea. I still don't know what I want to major in and I need to figure it out fast. I'm pretty sure Harvard doesn't want people who aren't thrilled with the idea of studying for four years about something they don't really care about. "What are you thinking about pretty girl?" Hero says startling me from my thoughts as he comes around me and sits down on the couch pulling me towards him. "Nothing babe don't worry" I say leaning my head back against his toned chest. "Usually when someone says don't worry the other person should be worried" he says nervously. "Hero it's nothing to worry about ok" I sigh leaning up to give him a chaste kiss. "You and Mercy are still taking us to the airport tomorrow yeah" he says smiling down at me. "Of course we are" I say smiling back. "Oi let's go swimming this is our last day of summer together" Felix says walking in the room with Mercy already dressed for the beach she has on a neon green bikini and he's in matching shorts. "Awwe you guys looks so adorable" I say giggling as Hero chuckles rolling his eyes. "Hey don't worry we got some for you both two" Mercy says excitedly throwing a bag at me that I didn't notice was hidden behind her back. "Your joking right" I say smirking at her as I pull out a neon yellow bikini top and matching bottoms. "Oh shit that looks sexy" Hero says biting his lip and snapping it back. "Don't forget Hero's JoJo" Felix says chuckling as I pull out the bright neon yellow shorts giggling as I throw them at him. "Seriously they'll see me from outer space" he says glaring at the shorts in disgust. "You want to see me in this then get changed rocket man" I say seductively as I hold up the bikini. Mercy and Felix laugh as Hero smirks at me getting up as we both head to our room to change. "Jo damn now I'm fucking hard" Hero groans staring at me as I smile at him slipping my bikini bottoms over my ass as I bend over. He groans at me grabbing his waist I lean up kissing him hard as he holds my face deepening the kiss our tongues caressing together. "Let's go people" Mercy yells through the door. We pull away smiling as we laugh. Hero looks sexy in his shorts I bite my lip looking at his v line as he grins at me his dimples popping out. "Let's go baby before I say fuck it and make love to you right here and now" he says seductively. "Tonight I'm going to climb you like a jungle gym" I say giggling at him as his eyes widen and he smirks smacking my ass. "Let's get this day over with then Ms. Langford" he says teasingly. He grabs my hand and we open the door seeing Felix and Mercy kissing passionately. "Oi fuck and you interuppted us" Hero says sarcastically as they pull apart laughing. "We packed a cooler mate" Felix says to Hero. "Why we are staying here and using the pool yeah" Hero says curiously. "No fucking way we are going to the ocean it's literally right there" Mercy says as Felix grabs the cooler. Mercy grabs a bag and smiles as she gives me a hug. "I love you sis" she says as we pull apart. "I love you more" I say smiling at her. "Not possible" she says giggling at me as I join her. "You better love me more" Hero says smirking at me. "I do love you so much Hero" I tell him sincerely. "Same babe I love you" he says giving me a chaste kiss. We all head to the ocean as Hero holds my hand. There are a few people scattered around and we choose a spot as Mercy takes out a blanket laying it down. Felix puts the cooler down on the edge of the blanket holding it down. All of a sudden I hear a girl scream in excitement as they yell "Jo, Mercy, Hero and Felix hey." I look over and see Elle not far from us with Noah, Lee, Rachel and another guy I've never seen before he has brown shaggy hair and a guitar in his hands as he sings a song. "Hey Elle and everyone" I say smiling at her. "Yo Hero and Felix come over here have you got your tour set up yet" Noah asks them. "Yeah a few days from now" Hero says sadly. "We leave tomorrow" Felix says sadly. "Hey it's ok we'll see you guys for Thanksgiving remember and we'll talk and facetime everyday" I say trying to reassure him and myself that everything will be fine and we will get through this stronger. They move their stuff closer to ours as I sit with Hero's arms wrapped around me from behind. "This is our cousin Luke he's going to be a senior next year like us" Lee says to me and Mercy introducing the new guy with the shaggy hair that's down to his shoulders and I notice he has hazel eyes now that he's closer. He smiles at us strumming his guitar. "Hello I'm Jo this is my boyfriend Hero, his sister and my bestest friend Mercy and her boyfriend Felix" I say to him introducing us each. "Nice to meet you guys" he says smiling as he looks at me. I feel Hero's arms tighten around me so I turn to him giving him a peck on his lips as I look into his eyes I say "I love you." "I love you too princess" he says smiling at me. "So who wants to go swimming?" Mercy says excitedly. "Yeah baby let's go" Hero says pulling me up as he holds my hands. The others run off to the water as we start to go. "Wait I need sunscreen" I say grabbing it from Mercy's bag as I hand it to Hero. "Fine love" he says smirking as he rubs the lotion into my back and down my legs slowly rubbing deeper as he nears my ass. "Mines" he says loudly smacking my ass making me giggle as I finish doing my face and arms. "And your mines" I say grabbing his hand as we meet the others in the water. "Let's play chicken" Elle says excitedly. "Seriously your such a dork" Noah says smiling at her adoringly. "Yes but we agreed you wouldn't say that anymore" she says smirking at him. "Come on babe let's play" Hero says pulling me on to his broad shoulders my center pressed against the back of his neck as my legs drape over his chest and he holds my thighs firmly in his hands. Elle has already climbed on to Noah's shoulders as Hero grips me with one hand saying "hold on baby" as he splashes Noah in the face as we get closer to them. "Ass hat" Noah says chuckling as Elle giggles as me and her start to try to push each other off both of us laughing. I managed to tip her off as she fell in the water laughing. "My arms are tired" I say giggling. "Me too" she says smiling. "I hope not too tired" Hero whispers in my ear seductively I turn around and wrap my legs around him as he holds me up in the water the waves splashing around us as our friends swim, talk and laugh near us. "So Jo I heard you can sing" Luke says to me as we are all getting out of the water. "Yeah I can but it's more of a private thing" I tell him noticing Hero's jaw clenching as he holds my hand. "Well if you change your mind I'm thinking of starting a band" he says shrugging. "She won't" Hero says irritably as Luke smirks saying "all right then" as he shakes the water off his head and walks towards their blanket. "Why are you acting like this?" I say to him as we stay at the edge of the water. "Because that bloody wanker hasn't kept his eyes off you since he first saw you and I'm fucking leaving tomorrow" he says frustratedly as he runs his fingers through his wet hair the sun beginning to set behind him making him glow. "First off I don't care where his eyes where because mines where on yours and the way you look at me nothing else can compare" I say sincerely holding his face in my hands as he smiles down at me. "First off huh so I guess there is more" he says teasingly. "Yes you ass you should no I would never ever leave you especially for someone I don't even know" I say teasing him back. "Oh really so if you get to know him then it's ok" he says sarcastically. "Nah not even then" I say giggling as he picks me up kissing me passionately. "I've got sand in places I didn't even know existed" I say giggling as we walk back to our blanket. Mercy and Felix have the food out and are opening up cans of beer as we get there. "About time geeze I will miss you two brother" Mercy says annoyed. "Sorry sis but I had to talk to my future wife" Hero says smiling at me. "Aren't you guys a little young for that" Luke says laughing. "Dude mind your damn business" Noah says glaring at him. "Nah Flynn it's ok I can answer him" Hero says glaring at Luke. "I've loved this girl since before I even knew what love meant so are we young yeah so what age is nothing but a number yeah. But it's her love for me that really makes it all click into place that we are end game there is no one else I could picture in my future but her got it mate" he finishes angrily. "Wow ok man chill I just asked a question" Luke says smirking at him. "A dumb one" I say irritably making Hero chuckle as we sit down I sit between him as I pass him a sandwich and some potato salad handing him a beer. "Thanks baby" he says kissing my cheek. "Your welcome" I say smiling as I grab my own food and beer. "Do you see yourself married to me?" Elle asks Noah as he chokes on his beer. "One day sure not anytime soon" he says nervously. "I know that I just want to know that this could be something more. Like Jo and Mercy they both have promise rings" she says to him. I look down smiling at my ring and the fact that it was his Nan's makes it all the more special. "This is too much sappy shit for me I'm heading back to the cabin" Luke says grabbing his guitar. "Well you really know how to spoil a surprise" Noah grins as he reaches in his coat pocket pulling out a box as Elle starts to tear up. "I promise I will always love you Shelley" he says sliding the ring on her finger as she jumps into his arms kissing him. "Show us" I squeel as me and Mercy run towards her and Rachel comes up as we all look at the beautiful silver cladagh ring. "It's beautiful" Mercy says smiling at her. "Yes Elle it's perfect for you" I say giving her a hug. "Now your next tiny Flynn" Felix says chuckling as Rachel grins and Lee shakes his head laughing saying "we'll see we have time." We say goodbye to them as we grab our stuff and head back to our cabin. "We were supposed to throw you and Felix a party tonight" I tell Hero sadly. "We didn't want one love that's why we didn't mention it" he says sadly. "This is the last night I get to spend with you until you come to Boston. I want you all to myself" he says seductively. "Oh really" I say biting my lip. "Wasn't there a situation about some sand being in certain places" he says teasingly grabbing me as I giggle and he leads me to the master bathroom. I lock the door as he starts the water adding some bubble bath into it. He comes up and quickly unties my bikini strap as it falls to the ground. He kisses my neck making me giggle as I pull away saying "wait I'm all dirty." "I like you dirty" he says smiling at me. "Get in the water" I say rolling my eyes as I  take my bikini bottoms off and his eyes blacken with lust. He quickly takes his shorts off as I admire his hard length he says "eyes up here princess" making me giggle as I blush. He climbs in the tub helping me in as I lay my head back against his chest. "Shall we get clean" he says biting my ear as he grabs the body wash lathering his hands with it. "Yes" I moan my breath hitching as he runs his hands all over my body caressing my breasts as he sucks on my neck hard. "Fuck Hero" I moan as he glides his hands over my center his erection digging into my back. He's slowly torturing me with his hands until I've had enough. "I'm clean enough fuck" I moan flipping over as I grab his length pumping him up and down as I slide myself down on to him. "You feel so good baby" he groans as I thrust myself up and down his length filling me hitting me deeper and deeper. He sucks my breasts and nipples nipping at them as I continue to grind up and down. "I love you so much" he groans kissing me hard as he holds my shoulders pushing his hips up matching my movements as I moan his name over and over again as my walls begin to tremble and clench and I reach my climax as I feel Hero's member twitch inside me and he curses my name in pleasure. "I love you Hero" I pant as we catch our breathes. "I don't want to leave you" he says tearing up. I don't want you to leave. I smile at him putting on a brave face I say "Hero this is just a little detour on the journey of our lives together. We'll be together everyday as soon as I'm in Boston with you" I say giving him a kiss. "It won't be soon enough" he says as we finish washing up and I wash my hair as he washes his body and hair. We get out and wraps my towel around me pulling me in for a kiss. After we get dressed we go out and make homemade pizzas with Mercy and Felix while we drink champagne. "Our own little goodbye party" Mercy says trying to smile but it doesn't reach her eyes. "Don't say goodbye party more like I'll see you soon and talk everyday party" Felix says making her smile bigger. "Exactly this is definitely not a goodbye" Hero says taking the pizzas out of the wood stove as he places them on the cooling rack. "I have a present to give you" I say nervously. "Really baby you didn't have too" Hero says excitedly. "It's just I know you like pinky rings but this ring would go here" I say grabbing his hand and placing it on his ring finger as I show him the black band with gold trim. "You got me a ring?" he say smiling down at me. "Yes a promise ring for you  to know that we will get married one day" I say smiling up at him. "I had it inscribed" I say timidly. He looks inside it smiling as he says "H & J Always and Forever. I love it baby." He slides it on his ring finger pulling me in for a kiss. "Where's my ring?" Felix says teasingly to Mercy making us all laugh. "I'll get you one eventually" she says smirking at him. We eat our pizza and drink the champagne as we laugh and talk about all the crazy things we have done either together or to each other over the years. After we say goodnight to Felix and Mercy me and Hero head into our room. "Want to jump in my suitcase tomorrow? I don't need clothes" Hero says teasingly as we get ready for bed brushing our teeth. I stare in the mirror noticing all the marks across my neck and chest that Hero left. "If I didn't think I'd die from claustrophobia then I would" I say giggling. "How do you feel about phone sex?" he asks me curiously. "We'll see lover boy" I say teasingly. He kisses me passionately as he carries me to the bed. "I'm going to make love to you til you can't walk for a week" he says seductively biting his lip. "So do it" I say as he slams inside of me over and over I grip my nails into his back raking them hard as he groans thrusting into me. We both reach our climaxes together in a panting mess. I'm barely catching my breathe when he smiles flipping me over slamming into me again as I cry out in pleasure. We spend the night in various positions as we climax again and again. Finally spent after hours he falls asleep before me as my head rest on his chest our bodies tangled in the sheet. "I don't want you to go" I whisper just having to say the words out loud at least once as a tear slides down my face and I quickly wipe it off. He stirs pulling me closer to him as he wraps his arm around me tighter I look up to see him smiling in his sleep which make me smile as I snuggle into him. Placing my left hand over his I smile at our rings joined together. At least those college girls will know he's mine. Finally I fall asleep dreading tomorrow and having to watch the man I love leave and that my best friend is in the same boat as me isn't going to help.
