"As of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door—

Only this and nothing more."

-Edgar Allen Poe

For the first time in a long time, Eli found himself speechless as he stares at the door in admiration. Raven Rivera is standing at the door. She is cloaked from head to toe with tan skin, that sits beautifully under a black halter tank top, along with some tight gray leggings that have laces down each side. For a moment, she stands there with her head tilted, and her hand rests upon her hip bone. Her dark brown chocolate hair hangs just below her shoulder blades, it looks more similar to a black with the dark hallway as her background. Her cream-colored eyes are her most prominent feature to Eli.

Don't say something stupid. Eli thinks as he tries to break his concentration from her.

"Do you remember me?" Raven smirks as she moves further into the room, where the light begins to shine upon her even brighter.

"Wow, Raven," Eli finally chokes up.

"I take that as a yes." She laughs as she pulls her hair around one shoulder.

"How could I possibly forget you?" Eli raises from the bed to a standing position as he walks toward her, he could hear his heartbeat, and Raven's nervous breath as he moves closer.

Raven prematurely pushes her body forward into Eli's arms, she tightly wraps her arms around his torso as he wraps his strong arms around her neck. She has a very toned, athletic build, but she was small, her head rests just below Eli's chin. She is warm against his pounding chest, but in a way that makes everything around you disappear and all that is wrong in the world feels right again. Eli's grip around her loosens, but she squeezes harder. He runs his hand down her wavy, doll-like curls, and he breathes her in. Her scent is that of Vanilla Twilight from Bath & Body Works, the same as Evelyn used to wear. However, this time, the scent took over his body, it made his knees weak, and his breathing mature.

"You don't know how long I have waited for that." Eli says as Raven's body shifts from his.

"Oh, I know exactly how long." Raven smiles as she turns to look around the room.

"I didn't think I would ever see you again." Eli reaches out and grabs Ravens hand as he turns her body back toward his.

"Well here I am." Raven says as she looks up into Eli's green eyes.

"Who did you come with?"

"One of my friends, Blair Blankenship. I don't think you would know her; she went to a different school. She talked me in to going out of town with her." Raven looks down at Eli's shaking hands.

"Do you still live in Wayward Bay?" Eli asks curiously.

"I do. Right where you left me." Raven says as her face turns distraught.

Eli wraps his arms back around her; his dam has finally broken. He pulls her in closer until her body presses tightly against his and he lays his cheek on top of her head.

"I'm so sorry, I never wanted to leave you, I had no choice." Eli cries out as the tears flow from his eyes.

Raven buries her face into Eli's chest as tears soak into his shirt. She immediately backs away when she realizes.

"I'm sorry," She says as she wipes tears from her face.

"Why are you apologizing?" Eli's says as he does a double take of his surroundings, almost forgetting he's out of place.
