"I can't believe this horse crap," Jaehyun complained as he folded his maths exercise paper for the 100th time. He sighed and stretched himself out on his chair, making fake crying noises.
"Jaehyun, you good?" Seungmin, the person behind him said as Jaehyun nodded slowly, "Just the typical breakdown."
I poked Jaehyuns shoulder and pointed at a page in out maths book. "The answer is literally given here," I chuckled, "it's just doing some reading." I pointed out as Jaehyun smiled innocently: "I am too lazy to read."
Seconds later, the bell rang and Jaehyun jumped into the sky. It was like the school bell suddenly gave him the energy he didn't have during class. "I truly can't believe this is just the firstday. How am I going to survive a whole year?" He continued to complain as he walked out of the classroom with Jibeom, the person who sat next to Seungmin.
"Did you do all the homework?" Seungmin asked me while still packing his bag. "Yes, of course. Did you?" I asked him back as he shook his head. "No, I got distracted during first period." He explained as I let out my hand, letting him know I'd do the homework for him.
"You would do it for me?" He said with open eyes, thanking me before I did anything. "Of course, we're best friends for a reason right? Last year you saved me from PE detention, remember? I still owe you one." I smiled and took his books, so I could make his homework later.
"Good, I'm going to the rest room. See you in the cafeteria," he waved goodbye as I did the same, packing Seungmins books in my bag as I now was the only person left in the classroom.
I was finally done packing my back and stepped outside, but knowing me, I of course had to bump into someone and make the situation awkward.
"I-I'm so sorry!" I immediately apologized as I stared upon the person I bumped into. My eyes were met with a pair of coal black eyes, reflecting the light outside. The school uniform he wore was tight around his body, which made him look very good.
I didn't dare to stare at his face. I could already feel my cheeks heating up. This was such a scene I had read in books so often but somehow I couldn't find the braveness the female characters in the books found. So I just froze at the spot, knowing that when I would start to talk, I would not stop talking.
"First year?" He chuckled, picking up the book that I dropped on the ground. Of course his voice had to sound hot too, I thought as I still tried to avoid his face. However, the tempation was too big so seconds later I stared at his face, which put some kind of magic spell on me.
What was this guy doing to me?
"I have to go," I said as I stepped away from the male in front of me, "Bye I guess."
I quickly made my way through the hallway and sat down at the cafeteria table where Seungmin, Jibeom and Jaehyun were already sitting.
"Yo, Rosa, you okay? You seem.. lost?" Jaehyun asked as I smiled fakely while sitting down. "I'm all good! Very good. Magnificently well!" I rambled as I grabbed my lunch box, as my friends obviously didn't buy my response.
"Come on. We are not dumb," Jibeom pointed out as I responded with a 'well...' making the other laugh.
"No, but on a serious note, I was just my clumsy self and might have bumped into someone." I said softly as they all were listening to me carefully.
"That sounds like something typically you," Seungmin chuckled as I nodded, "unfortunately, yes." I responded as the cafeteria suddenly became noisy.
"There we have it," Jibeom said as he was appearantly familiar with the situation. After all he was retaking first year classes since he failed them last year, so he was the only one who could know what this was about.
"What is it?" I asked curiously, as Jibeom pointed to the opening of the cafeteria. "Just watch," he said, as a group of three handsome men walked into the cafeteria.
"The bad boys," Seungmin noted as Jibeom nodded, "exactly. They might seem all handsome and seducy, but in reality they are jerks that mess with feelings. Trust me, my sister dated one of them before. It was no party," he explained as the four guys sat down at a table in our eye-sight.
Then, another person walked into the cafeteria. It was the handsome guy I had bumped into before. "There!" I said while pointing to him, "that's the guy I bumped into!"
"You talked to him?!" Jibeom yelled as he covered his open mouth with his hands. "Yeah, he was actually very kind," I told him, as Jibeom shook his head.
"Let me tell you about this little group of 'handsome' men," he started, grabbing our attention with some tea.
"This is the popular group all the girls swoon over. They all are charming, but don't get fooled by that. In reality they are not good guys, they are bad ones."
My eyes went over the group of guys as the guy I talked to sat down with the three who walked in first. So he was part of that group.
"The first one is Jangjun. Probably the most decent of them all," he started, while pointing at the guy at the corner of the table, smirking while playing a game on his phone. "He is known for being a rebel. He gets into fights often and takes opportunities to save girls, making them believe he is their hero. However, he is always on time and never failed a single test," Jibeom said as he moved on to the next person.
"The next one is Y. He is known for ethereal beauty. He is literally sleeping with everyone. Girl, guy, it doesn't matter for him. He uses them to get information and cheat on tests, or to get other things done. He is an A class manipulator, so watch out for him," Jibeom warned and moved on to the next person, "then we have Daeyeol. He is famous at school since his brother is an idol. All the girls want is to date an idol, right? That he's good at singing and dancing doesn't make it any better. He sees it as a game to mess with the emotions of fangirls and he even two-times people," Jibeom said on a disgusted tone.
"Then, lastly, we have Joochan. He is known as the heartbreaker. First he seduces you, then he breaks your heart. He never dates anyone, he just breaks hearts. Next to that, he also fights often together with Jangjun. You must promise me to not fall for him, Rosa. He will only break your heart."
I nodded slightly, "I would never fall for a guy like that," I said firmly, as my friends nodded. "Good, then, shall we talk about my dinnerparty?" Seungmin suggested and they started discussing the party, but my eyes kept falling over Joochan. Was it truly nothing that I felt for him?
