"I really need to talk to you," I shamelessly said through the phone at 3AM, hoping someone would finally help me make up my mind. I had decided to call Doyeon, since she was the only female family member I could talk about love with. "You do realise what time it is, don't you?" She mumbled as I cleared my throat, "I know..."

"It is a guy, isn't it?" She asked as I was shocked she saw through me like that. "W-well, it's a bit more complicated..." I embarassedly said as she chuckled, "Two guys, then?" I laughed a bit and admitted that it was indeed about two guys. "Tell me," she said, "You did call me at 3AM for a reason." 

Again, I cleared my throat and went to tell her about the whole story so far. From Joochan trying to seduce me to the point where Jibeom and Joochan fought and 'confessed' to me. "Because of all these things, I started to think I might have feelings for Jibeom instead of Joochan... I mean, wouldn't that be better in the first place?" I told her as I could practically hear her think. "It's very complicated, yet very simple. Just follow your heart. If you want to date Jibeom, date him. But do remember they are not dolls to play with, they are humans with feelings. And Jibeom is a close friend of yours," She told me as I nodded, agreeing with her. "That's exactly the reason why I don't know what to do... What if I started dating Jibeom and I found out I didn't like him after all, what would I do then?" I sighed as she chuckled. "That's what dates are for, sweetie."

"A d-date?" I asked as she confirmed with an enthusiastic 'yes'. "You two should just go on a date, or more dates, to find out if you two really match together. Of course, you can't be seeing two guys at the same time, so you'd have to choose between Jibeom and Joochan." She explained and I nodded, but I already knew who I was going to chose.

"Should I just.. ask him?" I wondered as Doyeon confirmed, "Yes, I mean, he practically confessed to you right? It's not weird to ask it, then." She added and I made a small note of it.
"Then.." I gathered my confidence, ".. I'll ask him on a date tomorrow!" I smiled and Doyeon giggled before we said goobyes and went back to sleep. Although in the end, sleeping didn't really work out for me out of nervousness. I mean, how to even ask someone out on a date?

Before I knew it, time had passed and it was morning already, getting multiple calls from Jaehyun who was somehow already standing in front of my house. It seemed like I had slept for a whole hour. "I'll be there!" I quickly responded as I went to dress myself and quickly ate some cornflakes before running off to school. "Hi," I greeted Jaehyun, who stared a bit confused at me. "Is everything.. alright?" He wondered as I nodded and just pulled him with me towards school. "Let's just say I'm going to do something very unexpected today." I smiled nervously as he shook his head. "As long as it's not dancing Infinite's be mine on the tables like last year, it's fine." He sighed as I laughed, "Hey, that was for a dare," I commented as we stopped to be met with the person I was waiting for to come.

Jibeom.

He greeted us and went to walk next to me. I was too shy to stare at him. I couldn't even speak up. As it was going like this,

how could I ever ask him on a date?

"J-jibeom," I said softly as we reached the entrance of the school, even though I knew we only had two minutes to get to class, I somehow felt like this was the right moment. Students around us were rushing to get in and Jaehyun had already dissapeard between the crowds of students. I stared at Jibeoms face, his twinkling eyes that looked kindly upon me. "What is it?" he asked as he stepped closer, "You seem pale," He went to touch my forehead to see if I had a fever. "You're burning up--" "Jibeom, do you want to go on a date with me?" I asked him with open eyes as his wrist was still on my forehead. My face flushed red as I quickly went to walk away, but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

"I would love to."
