The time is ticking and any moment now, we'll be going to the masquerade ball. Claudia helped me with the dress and the looks. Hindi kami nahirapan dahil halos pareho lang kami ng katawan ni Claudia maliban nalang sa small baby bump niya.

Alrius wore a  gray tuxedo with a silver tie. The satin stripes of design highlighted from the dark linen.

I inhaled deeply. Hindi magkamayaw ang kaba sa dibdib ko sa gagawin naming ito. Alexus never called me once. He's avoiding being suspected by the Morgans as well as his father. Mahirap dahil hindi namin alam kung ano nang balita sa kanya. We only did is to stick to the plan and trust him.

"I hope so." I exhaled. Claudia smiled at me and hugged me for comfort. Agad namang narelax ang katawan ko.

"Take care of her, darling. The both of you, take care," Claudia went to Alrius's arms. He kissed her fiancee reassuringly.

"We will, sweetheart. Now better have your rest, it's almost bedtime for our baby..."

We all hoped for the better after this night.
