ARIA

Buong araw lang akong nasa kwarto at nagbabasa ng libro. Hindi ko na namalayan ang oras at nakalimutan ko na ding mag-lunch. Buti na lang hinatiran ako ni John dito sa kwarto ng pagkain. Nahiya pa ako kasi naabala ko pa siya. 

I closed the book I'm reading. It's Worthless written by Jonaxx. It was a good book! Binili ko to nung nasa Pilipinas pa bago ako umalis. 

Nilapag ko ang libro sa bedside table. Umupo ako sa kama. Medyo nangalay na ang likod ko dahil kanina pa akong umaga nagbabasa. You know, when you're reading a good book, hindi mo na mapapansin ang oras at ang mga pwesto mo. Hindi ko alam na nakadapa na pala ako sa kama habang nagbabasa.

 Kung nandito si tita Lianilda, kanina pa niya ako pinagsabihan.A lady should be sitting with class while reading her book. Too much for having a Moretti mother. 

I tied my hair into a messy bun. I glance at the drawer and remembered something. The envelope!

Binuksan ko ang drawer at kinuha ang pink na envelope. The sender really knows my favorite color. I giggled when I smelled it, smells like strawberries mixed with manly scent. Weird combination though. 

In fairness talaga, the extravagance of that man! Sealed with candle wax pa talaga. 

I unfolded the paper inside and read the letter...

Aria Morzette,

I know this isn't the right time, but I really wish to see you. My father will be buried tomorrow morning. I don't have anyone. My sister also needs me and I'll be right beside her. Too much for being the first born. I don't have anyone anymore to hold on to. But don't worry about me. I'll be okay. 

Anyways, there's a million dollar that entered our charity account right now. The sender was anonymous but the bank just left a note that it's from the auction. I have the other file attached in this note. I'll visit the AZ Foundation once everything is okay.

Nikkolai Zero 

Nalungkot ako nang mabasa ang note. Zero's having a hard time right now at wala ako sa tabi niya. He was there when I lost my father. He even have my father's death investigated. I want to comfort him like what he did to me years ago. 

Zero is the man closest to my heart beside Riccolo. Kahit anong close ko kay Riccolo, I always have reservations when opening up to him. Minsan kasi hindi niya sineseryoso ang mga hinanaing ko. Well, I understand him. That's his character. The happy go lucky. But Zero just listened to everything I told him. 

He's quiet and cold but when he's with me, I saw a different man opposite to what others are talking about. He's not cold and heartless. He just know how to hide his feelings well. But not to me. 

I scan through the files behind the note. It's a report about the money Alexus bid to the auction. The file said that the money was transferred to the charity's account. That man is really generous. 

Binalik ko ang mga papel sa envelope at muling binalik sa drawer. Kinuha ko ang phone ko at nag iwan ng comforting message para kay Zero. I know he's still mourning right now. 

NAPAGPASYAHAN ko na lamang lumabas ng kwarto nang nabored na ako. Wala naman akong ibang pinagkakaabalahan kundi ang libro. I'm not fond of scrolling through the social media. May isang website lang ako active. Iyon ay ang personal photography site. Doon ako nag u-upload ng mga pictures na kinukuha ko sa kung saan saang lugar.
