"Hey are you crying?"

Warm and rough hands touched my wrists. I can't stop the pain anymore.

If this is embarrassing, crying in front of a not-really-a-stranger, then I am really embarrassed.

"It hurts. Damn him!" I cried.

Tinakpan ko ang mukha ko dahil sa pag-agos ng mga luha ko. Hindi ko na napigilan eh. Ang kapal lang ng mukha niyang tingnan ako ng masama. Eh siya itong nagtago sakin ng engagement nila ng ka-love team niya!

Ang lakas pa ng loob niyang i-invite ako sa presscon niya tapos iyon naman pala ang madadatnan ko! Damn them all!

"Woah woah woah! I'm not really comfortable when a woman is crying in front of me! Okay ka lang ba?" He asked.

Lumapit sakin si Alexus. Paano ba kami naging ganito kalapit sa isa't-isa? As far as I know, kilala ko lang siya sa pangalan at bilang kaibigan ni Rafaelle but other than that, wala na. So I don't think I'll consider him as a friend.

I felt his hands slowly removing my wrists from my face. Nagkalat na siguro ang makeup ko! Ano na lang ang itchura ko ngayon? Who cares about the look! I just want to cry all night!

I felt betrayed. I really felt betrayed. They betrayed me big time!

Should I ask for his explanations?

You really even think that, Aria? Kitang-kita mo naman ang ginawa nila hindi ba? Narinig pa ng dalawa mong tenga ang mga pinagsasasabi niya sa harap ng media.

Pati utak ko nagtatalo na.

"Hey, don't cry! Why are you even crying for that man? Is he your boyfriend? Sa pagkakaalam ko dapat ikakasal ka kay Rafaelle..." Puno ng pagtataka ang boses niya.

I wiped my tears using his suit.

"What the fuck-"

Wala akong dalang panyo. Nakakahiya man, pero lulubos-lubosin ko na. Siya lang ang nandito eh.

"Take me away from here." Sabi ko matapos magpunas ng mukha. He saw me crying anyway. Ano pa bang hiya ang itatago ko sa kanya?

"Wait, you want me to take you away from this place?" He asked. Trying to confirm what I said.

I nod. "Take me away from this place, even this country. Basta malayo sa lugar na ito."

I stared coldly at his deep tantalizing eyes. There's something wrong with my chest and I can't even name it. My heart is beating faster than its normal beat. I haven't felt this kind of heartbeat before.

Umayos siya ng pagkakatayo sa harap ko. Tinitimbang kung nasa tamang huwisyo pa ako. Sino ba namang matinong babae ang magyayayang umalis kasama ang isang not-really-a-stranger na lalaki? I guess I'm crazy though?

Mukhang wala siyang balak maniwala sa sinasabi ko.

"Are you drunk?"

"I'm not. So Mr. Mardoni, I'm asking you to take me away from this place. Claim your one million dollar date. Just please get me out of this damn place!"

Aria Morzette Roccini? Are you even yourself right now?

Hindi siya sumagot. Pinakatitigan niya lang ako gamit ang pilyo niyang mga mata. Umangat ang gilid ng kanyang labi. Natuon doon ang atensyon ko. I felt myself gulped.

Oh gosh what's happening to me?

"Fine! Kung ayaw mo, aalis na lang ako. By the way thank you for the generous amount, I'll just deposit the money to my very own charity. Good evening again, Mr. Mardoni."

Agad na tinalikuran ko siya. Naiinis na ako sa sarili ko dahil kanina lang iiyak-iyak ako dahil kay Raven, ngayon naman ay napakabilis ng tibok ng puso ko dahil lang sa lalaking iyon.

Naglakad na ako patunog parking lot. Pero bago pa ako tuluyang makalapit sa kotse ay may humatak sakin.

Alexus' blue eyes met mine. His brows were furrowed.

"What!?" I exclaimed. Gusto ko na talagang makaalis sa lugar na ito!

"Are you sure with what you said earlier? Naninigurado lang at baka mali ang pandinig ko." Malalim ang kanyang boses.

I sighed and look at him with pained eyes.

"Yes. Pero kung ayaw mo, kaya ko namang mag-isa-" he cut me off.

"No! Okay okay! I'll get you out of here but in one condition." Sabi niya.

He smirked at me. Hindi ko alam kung anong emosyon ang naglalaro sa kanyang mga mata.

His eyes traveled down to my body. I felt my body heated from his stare. Na-awkward na tumayo ako ng tuwid. I crossed my arms on my chest. He seemed to liked my move dahil natuon ang mga mata niya sa dibdib ko.

"Eyes up, Mr. Mardoni." Halos mabulol bulol ko nang sabi.

Tumawa siya ng mahina at tiningnan ako.

"Oops! My bad." He playfully said.

My brows furrowed. He's.... he's... naughty!

"What's the condition?" Pagbabago ko ng usapan dahil baka kung saan pa umabot ang mga titig niya.

"I'm going to take you away from here but not just for one night."

What? Anong ibig niyang sabihin?

"We'll go somewhere far from here for a month." He proposed.

A month!? Nababaliw na ba siya? Isang gabi or date lang ang usapan ng auction!

"Excuse me? Sa pagkakaalam ko, isang date lang ang napag-usapan ng bidding."

His eyes glinted with mystery. I am slowly getting mesmerized by it.

"Don't you think it's unfair for me? I spent a million dollar just for one date? I don't really think I'll get to enjoy my... bid."

I bit my lip. Hindi ko maintindihan ang sensasyong dala ng kanyang boses. Parang may something doon na nakaka-akit laging pakinggan.

"It's not my fault anymore, Mr. Mardoni. You're the one who decided to bid that large amount of money."

"Hmmm... But it's non-refundable. Take it or leave it? It's up to you, my lady." He teased.

Ilang minuto ko siyang tinitigan. Mas lalo lang nagwawala ang dibdib ko dahil sa asul niyang mga mata.

"RIA!"

Our attention went to the man who just betrayed me this evening. Raven is running towards our direction. I felt my chest twitched with pain by the sight of his face.

My eyes quickly turned to Alexus.

"I'm gonna take it. Now get me out of here." I desperately asked.

His lips formed into a naughty smile and his eyes held a glint of playfulness as he look back at me.

"My pleasure."

Alexus' wrapped his arm on my waist and walked me to his car.

"RIA LET'S TALK!"

Hindi ko na pinansin ang boses ni Raven sa likod ko at agad na pumasok na ako sa sportscar ni Alexus.

He quickly went to the driver's seat and start the car.

"Thank you." I said to the man beside me.

Umandar na ang sasakyan at mabilis niya itong pinaharurot sa kalsada.

"Don't thank me yet, darling."

Hindi ko maintindihan pero nang lingunin ko siya ay may kakaibang misteryo ang mga mata niya na nagpakabog ng husto ng dibdib ko.
