Chapter 24

Kristy's POV

"Rise and shine." I felt someone shaking me trying to get me to wake up. I opened one eye to look at who it was and saw four sets of eyes staring at me.

"Girls, what are you doing in my bedroom?" I asked them.

"You're getting married today.......again." Perrie cried out. I sat up on the bed now fully awake.

"You guys don't need to make a big deal about it. It's just a small ceremony in the garden to express our love and commitment for one another." I tried to tell them.

"So a wedding." El translated for me. I shook my head and turned to look for my husband.

"Uh, where's Niall?" I asked them.

"Oh, we kicked him out before waking you up. It's bad luck to see the bride on her wedding day." Sofia reminded me.

"You aren't going to let this go are you?" I asked the girls.

"Nope." They all shook their heads and pulled me out of the bed.

"You have a busy morning ahead of you. First, you have a relaxing bath, then Gail has to do your hair and makeup, we have to take pictures and you have to get dressed." Perrie said explaining the schedule to me. I finished tying my robe and glanced around the crowded room.

"Where's Violet?" I asked trying to find my daughter.

"Christopher and Isabella have Violet and will have her ready for the ceremony." Perrie told me as she pushed me into the bathroom.

"Now go take your bath."

"Yes, Your Majesty."

~2 Hour Later~

"You look beautiful Kristy." Sofia gushed as she zipped me into my dress. I ran my hands down my dress as I looked at myself in the mirror. I let out a heavy sigh.

AJ stood next to me and placed her hand on my shoulder. "You feeling okay?"

"Yeah. I feel.....happy." A smile spread across my face.

"You ready?" I nodded my head.

"Wait we have a surprise for you. Put this on." AJ held out a blindfold for me to wear.

"Don't you dare put that on. You did not just spend 2 hours getting your hair and makeup done to have it ruined by a blindfold." Perrie scolded.

" Fine. Just close your eyes and no peeking." I closed my eyes and waited for someone to tell me what was going on. I felt two different hands grab my arms and start to guide me out of the room.

"Careful of that step." Someone cried out. We walked for a few minutes and then we stopped and the hands let go of me.

"Okay, you can open your eyes." Someone whispered next to me. I opened my eyes and looked around.

"What's going on?" I asked as I glanced at the grand staircase.

"We wanted to give you and Niall a moment to see each other before the ceremony." Sofia told me.

"But I thought it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding." I reminded her.

"It's your second wedding it won't matter. And you two have had plenty of bad luck to last a lifetime." Eleanor told me. I looked at the girls and then at the staircase.

"Now go or you will be late for your wedding." The girls left me alone at the top of the staircase.

"Okay, Niall you can take your blindfold off now." AJ called out as she walked out of the room. I took a deep breath and started my descent down the stairs. I kept my eyes on the floor and didn't lift my head until I got to the bottom.
