~80 Years Later~

Kristy's POV

I opened my eyes and took a deep breath. I rolled over and watched my sleeping mate. I reached up to brush the hair out of his face. 

"Good Morning." I whispered as I saw blue eyes staring back at me.

"Morning." He spoke in his deep morning voice. 

"Today's the big day." My hand lingered against his cheek, enjoying the feeling of my mate's soft skin.

"Mmm." Niall grabbed my hand and gave it a small kiss. He pushed himself up and leaned against the headboard. 

"You think he's ready?" Niall asked me.

"Yeah, you've trained him well. He'll be a great king just like his daddy." I pressed a kiss to Niall's cheek then climbed out of our warm bed. 

"And he will be a kind leader just like his mother." Niall wrapped his arms around my waist and started kissing my neck. 

"Niall you're going to make us late." I tried to tell him. 

"Oh, who needs us. Today's our last day as rulers. We get to do whatever we want." He reminded me.

"Yes....... tomorrow. We still have the coronation and we.......Niall." I lost my train of thought.

"Yes." He answered me.

"Niall I am not kidding we have to go." I said finally slipping out of his arms. Niall gave me the pouty face and started whimpering.

"Don't give me that face you know it won't work. We've been together long enough that your powers do not work on me." I turned away from the pouting vampire and walked towards the bathroom.

"Better luck next time." 

~1 Hour Later~

"Kristy?" Niall called out from the closet.

"Yes." I peeked inside the closet to see Niall in just a towel mumbling to himself.

"Have you seen my coronation suit? I can't seem to find it." I shook my head at my mate and walked past my mate.

"Ryan dropped it off earlier and placed it in a garment bag." I reached into the closet and pulled out the desired clothing. 

"What would I do without you." Niall leaned down and gave me a peck on the cheek. 

KNOCK KNOCK

"I'll get it. You need to get dressed." I walked out of the closet and went to open the door.

"Christopher!" I opened the door to find my eldest child.

"Mum I need help." Chris held out his tie for me to see. I let out a sigh and shook my head.

"Christopher you are 100 years old. I think it's about time you learn how to tie your own tie." I reminded him.

"Yeah well maybe I prefer the way you tie my tie." He shrugged his shoulders and tried to act innocent. 

"Niall, can you come here for a second?" I called out to my mate. Niall sped to me using his vampire speed. 

"Whatcha need hon?" He asked me as he tried to put on his cufflinks. I took Niall's wrist and helped him. 

"Your son needs help tying his tie. This might be a good time to teach him." 

Niall's POV

"This might be a good time to teach him." Kristy squeezed my hand and walked into the bedroom.
