Your POV
"She allowed Angor Rot to obtain a Horngazel. The very key past Trollmarket's defenses?" Vendel yelled which made me shrink back and hug myself.

"It's not (Y/n)'s fault, it's mine. I should've gone to the school for the incantation. I should've faced Angor Rot. Not them." Jim said as he turned to look at me.

"It was in my purse. He took it while me and Toby were dangling off the roof. He cut the strap and left with it." I said as I turned away.

"It was a great everyday purse. It went with everything." Toby said as he put a hand on my shoulder.

"We might have time. Angor Rot rarely attacks during the day-" Jim said before being cut off by Vendel.

"Angor Rot is unpredictable at best. And if there isn't anything to stop him from creating havoc in Trollmarket... then you have just put more than yourselves at risk."

"TrollHunter! Help!" Strickler yelled and we ran to him.
"Put him down! He helped save my mother. He's with me." Jim said.

"He tried to release Gunmar!" "Get him out of here!" "Changelings ain't right in Trollmarket!" "Get rid of him!" Trolls yelled.

"It's not going to make a difference. Angor Rot wants me too, and the protectors barrier won't stop him." Jim said and everyone got confused.

"What do you mean?" Blinky asked.

"He has a horngazel." Jim said and trolls started to throw trash at him.

"Look, you have a right to know!" Jim said as he turned around.

"Let's throw them both out!" A troll yelled as they picked up Jim.

"It's not his fault!" "Jim!" Toby and I yelled.

"When you finish throwing them out... come back and throw me out, too! Yes, the boy has made grave errors. But he's come through for us more times than I give him credit for. Trollmarket is in danger and our greatest defense has always been our TrollHunter. He's earned my trust. He should have earned yours." Vendel said as Blinky climbed up on the car beside him.

"You can throw me out, too!"

"And me." Aaarrrgghh said as he stood beside them.

"Us too, though technically, we don't live here. I'm just sayin." Toby said.

"Same for me. I've always stood with our TrollHunter." Bagdwella said as she walked away from throwing him out. Jim just glared at her. The two trolls that were holding Jim and Strickler dropped them and walked away. Jim got up and walked up a couple of steps.

"Now, we get ready to give Angor Rot the fight of his life!" Jim yelled and the trolls cheered. Trolls got to work, stacking TV's, gathering weapons, closing their shops, and making hideouts for the ones who couldn't fight.

Small time skip
"Toby, we have to tell Jim." I said.

"Tell me what?" Jim asked as he walked in and we turned around.

"Wow, thanks." PT 2Where stories live. Discover now
