Amie's POV:
Flashback:
"Whatever happens, Amie. All always be your best friend. No matter how far away I am, okey?" Year 6 Harry grinned at me.
"Okey Harry. If you break the promise, we can't be friends." I frowned, but laughed after.
"I'll miss you." He sighed, hugging me.
"I'll miss you too Haz. Always stay in touch, ok?" I said, tears rolling down my face as my mum approached me.
"Always!" He said, crying as my mum led me away.End of flashback:
"What happened Harry?" I sighed, looking back through my childhood photos. Since Harry had become part of the band One Direction, he had stopped contacting me. I tried to reach out by email and phone calls, but he always declined.
I laughed at another photo, remembering the day he told me, "When you turn 22, if you're not dating anyone, then we can date, deal?"We'll, it was my 22nd birthday today. I had spent it with a few friends but I wished Harry was here, hugging me and wishing me a happy birthday.
My phone began to ring and my mum's number popped up, so I gladly answered. "Hi Mum." I said, putting on a happy tone.
"Hi sweetheart." She laughed down the phone. "Sorry I haven't been able to visit you, I've been at work all day, but I'm on my way now, just round the corner." She said.
"Oh mum, you didn't have to. Thank you though."
"Alright sweetie, see you in a few."
"Bye Mum."I smiled to myself and ended the call, going to put something else on, since it was 9:30pm and I had my pyjamas on. I slipped into some joggers and an oversized T-shirt. It was actually a T-shirt Harry has got me, just a week before the start of One Direction. Now 5 years later, I still kept the shirt.
After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door. I put my hair up in a ponytail and walked into the living room and towards the front door.
I began to unlock it and swung it open, seeing
someone standing there that wasn't my mum."Hello Amie." A deep voice said. My bottom lip trembled as I realised who it was. "Happy Birthday best friend." He grinned.
"HARRY!" I squealed, tackling him into a hug.
"It's really you!" I sobbed. He moved us inside the house as I clung onto him, sobbing happily. I heard my mum laugh in the background and I knew that she had done this.
"Oh my god, Harry. I- I- you're-" I couldn't exactly get my words out. My pressed his lips to my forehead, quietly calming me down. "You really think I forgot about you?" He laughed.
"Yes." I mumbled.
"I'm sorry, I've been so busy and been on so many tours." He mumbled, swaying side to side lightly.I let go of him, looking him in the eyes and feeling my face heat up as he grinned cheekily at me. "God I've missed this." He sighed. We hugged for a few more minutes before I ran over to my mum, hugging her too.
"You are the best, mum. I love you so so much." I whispered.
"Of course, sweetheart. Anything for my little girl."
"Mum I'm 22."
"I know. Anyway, Harry was wondering if he could spend the week with you."My mouth dropped open and I pulled away from the hug, turning to Harry. "YES OF COURSE HAZ!" I squealed, running up to him again. I basically jumped on him, wrapping my legs around his waist. He quickly responded and caught me, his arms wrapped around my waist as mine were a round his neck.
"I'll see you soon sweetheart!" My Mum called out.
"Bye Mumma." I said weakly. I heard the door shut and I slowly slipped off Harry. "You don't even know how long I've waited for this moment. Right here, you standing in front of me with that stupid SMIRK ON YOUR FACE!" I laughed.
"We're still best friends right?" He pleaded, his bottom lip poking out and using his puppy eyes.
"Of course, Hazza."
He walked back up to me, smiling sweetly. "So about that promise. Since it's your 22nd birthday..." He trailed off.
I pressed my lips together, looking down and smiling. "That offer's still up, right?" He made sure.
I shrugged playfully. "Is it? Should I really let you when you've been away for so long? I think you need to make it up to me before we even continue with that promise." I said.
"God you know how to tease me." He mumbled. He took a step closer, placing his hand in the back of my neck and pulling me in. Our lips were centimeters apart, and I became nervous. "You're cute when you're shy." He whispered. He finally leaned in and connected our lips, and the spark flew over us.
I didn't waste time and I kissed him back, my hands resting in his chest.
This is going to be one hell of a week.
