Tutor (Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader)

Chapter 57

The next morning both you and Marie were up before the sun and checked out of your hotel after double-checking that you hadn't forgotten anything.

You went to the closest convenience store to buy some food for on the way, Marie for on the plane and you for on the train to Sendai, after which it was about an hour train ride to Haneda Airport.

When you had almost arrived at the airport you got a message from Wakatoshi, telling you that he had arrived at Tokyo station to pick you up. You quickly typed back that you hadn't even made it to the airport yet so you would still be a while.

As the train arrived he sent you another message asking if it would be okay if he joined you at the airport instead.

"Yeah, of course!" Marie replied as you asked her the question and you relayed her answer to Wakatoshi. 

At the entrance to the airport, you were not surprised to find a familiar face already waiting for you. Hyakuzawa greeted both of you and after taking Marie's luggage from her, joined you inside.

You went to the check-in first and once you were on the way to security you got a message from Wakatoshi letting you know that he was at the entrance of the airport.

"Is it alright if I go get him quickly?" You asked Marie, who nodded her agreement.

"Don't you dare leave before I get back, okay?" You ordered her sternly. "If you do I'll tell them you have a bomb or something."

"Of course, now go get him, before you get arrested for saying the b-word." She joked and sent you on your way.

You hurried back the way you came and found him standing near the entrance, looking around. Trying to keep hidden among the other people making their way in and out of the airport, you sneaked your way up to him and grinned when he turned his back to you.

You quickly jogged up behind him and linked your arm with his as you asked him: "Can I have your autograph please?"

"Sure." He automatically replied as he turned his head and blinked as he realized it was you. "You're not a fan." 

You pouted at his reply. "What are you saying? I'm your biggest fan!"

"So, you want my autograph?" He asked you, one eyebrow still raised in slight confusion. You couldn't help but roll your eyes at him before you grabbed his hand and started dragging him along.

"No silly, but let's go, Marie is waiting!" You said as you walked briskly to where you had just come from. You got yanked back however, as Wakatoshi had not moved from his spot and had a firm grip on your hand.

"What?" You questioned as you took a step back in his direction. 

"Good morning." He simply said and closed the distance between you to give you a kiss.

You looked at him a bit bewildered for a moment, before hesitantly returning his greeting. "Good morning. We should really get going though."

He nodded, contently, and started walking.

When you approached the security checkpoint once more, you saw from a distance that Marie seemed deep in conversation with Hyakuzawa and you naturally slowed down.

You wondered if you would be interrupting something if you joined them now, but any chance of turning back flew out the window as Marie spotted you and waved you over.

"Hey Ushi, good to see you before I go." She greeted Wakatoshi. Every time she addressed him with the nickname you wondered if he really didn't mind or was just being polite.
