That morning, even though you had barely had any sleep, you were up before your alarm went off. You started your day by checking once again if you had everything you needed for your travels.

You made sure you left your part of the dorm behind clean and neat for your roommate. You expected she would be glad for the privacy she'd have for the next month and a half.

It was much earlier than necessary when you left the dorms and you caught a few busses earlier than you had planned. As you sat down on one of the many empty seats you immediately took your phone and typed a message.

'I'm on my way to the airport (way too early), I'm so nervous but excited!!'

You checked the time and figured it would be early afternoon for him, if you were lucky he hadn't left for practice yet. A few minutes later you were happy to get a reply from him.

'Good, I'll see you tomorrow then.'

Even though you would be landing in Osaka, which was a one and a half hour flight or a four-hour train ride from Sendai, Wakatoshi had told you he'd come to see you at the airport and help you guys on the way.

You quickly typed another message to him. 'I can't wait to see you!'

His reply arrived almost instantly.

'Me neither <3'

You did a double-take at his message. You were pretty sure Tendou was not in any way involved this time. Feeling the heat rise to your cheeks you scrolled through your stickers to find the set you recently purchased.

The one you chose to send him was a little Vabo-chan with hearts floating above it. It took him a little while to reply and when you saw what he sent you, you couldn't help but giggle. It was a sticker, the first sticker he ever sent you, of Vabo-chan making a heart with his hands.

You were pretty sure that when he had seen your sticker he had gone and bought them too. You could imagine him sending this very cute sticker with the most stoic expression on his face which made you snort at the thought. It was either that or he was blushing like crazy, feeling embarrassed.

The both of you exchanged some more random Vabo-chan stickers before he had to leave for practice, ending the conversation with: 'Have a safe flight, I'll see you tomorrow.'

You sent him another sticker, then leaned your head back and looked out of the window. It was hard to keep calm and contain your excitement.

An hour later you sat at the airport entrance waiting for Marie. You had sent her a message to let her know you had arrived early and were eating breakfast in one of the little cafes in the airport.

Marie arrived at the arranged time and you both proceeded to the security and customs checkpoint. You still had quite some time left before you needed to be at the boarding gate so you sauntered around the shops to pass the time.

When it finally became time to board the plane you hurried toward the gate. A lot of people were already waiting there, among which many Japanese. Everything started getting even more real when you had your ticket checked at the gate and you felt your stomach clench.

"Have you seen our seat numbers by the way? It seems we are not going to be sitting next to each other." Marie said and her voice brought you back from your nervous thoughts.

"What?" You said, your voice louder than intended. "How did that happen? We ordered our tickets together!"

"I guess it was naïve of us to think that would automatically put us together." She replied and shrugged. "It's not a big deal right?"
