9 months passed by.
Maraming nangyari sa loob ng siyam na buwan. Kean and I got a promotion sa trabaho. I was promoted as a Senior News Producer kaya mas malawak na ang scope ng trabaho ko. Kean was assigned to another department, head siya ng isang division doon kaya hindi na kami magkasama ng office.
For those months, I haven't seen Indira even once. Si Rocco, iyong kuya niya, ang nagbibigay sa akin ng updates about her. According to him, she rarely goes home. Mommy had to drop investigating about Andrei kasi kinausap na siya ng Head Prosecutor. Nakatanggap na rin si mommy ng ilan pang death threats and we're afraid that something real could happen one day.
I talked to Andrea about Kean.
"Andrea," I called her noong kami lang dalawa sa office.
"Kylie, you remember me,"
"How can I forget you? We met in Maldives before. Then I recently found out that you are related to the person who harassed me back there," matalim siyang tumingin sa akin. I feel like hindi siya iyong Andrea na nakausap ko back in Maldives. She changed. I think what she showed me before was just her cover.
"Kylie," she called then she smiled. "Kean is mine,"
"He was yours, before, but he's mine now so stop lurking around him," hindi niya tinanggal ang ngiti niya.
"Are you threatened by my presence? maybe you don't trust him enough," she said. Umiinit na ang ulo but I need to control it.
"I trust him. It's just that I don't trust you," I answered her back.
"Huwag kang mag- alala, Kylie. Walang maaagaw kung walang magpapaagaw." She tapped my shoulder then she stand up. Magkaharap na kami ngayon. "Also, don't forget that I was dating him since third year,"
"Andrea." I called. I shouldn't be affected by her presence. I just want her to know that she can't break Kean and I apart. "Kean loves me now, so stop what you are planning." I leaned in to her and to whisper something. "And be careful about your brother, he might end up behind the bars." I said then I walked away.
"Kylie," I stopped walking but I didn't turn around.
"Kean and I will end up with each other. I assure you that because I will do whatever it takes to make that happen. So just enjoy your time with him dahil babawiin ko na siya sa'yo. Soon." naglakad na lang ako palayo noong matapos siyang magsalita. Hindi ko siya nilingon.
I trust Kean.
Andrea will never break us apart.
After that talk, hindi na pumasok kinabukasan si Andrea. Ini- announce ng news chief na tapos na raw iyong training niya.
Kuya Zandro's always checking on me. He's always asking if I want to visit him or if I need something. Maayos na rin daw iyong takbo ng art gallery niya at tapos na siya sa kanyang Master's Degree.
Mom and dad are now very civil. One time, nagkita sila sa isang gathering. I was with mommy while daddy is with Tita Lucy. They greeted each other as if nothing happened from the past. I just feel sad for mommy because I know that she still loves dad.
My relationship with Kean is very healthy and stable. Kapag nag- aaway kami, hindi kami matutulog hanggang hindi iyon naaayos. If something is bothering us, we talk about it even if the other disagrees.
"Hindi ka ba sasabay?" Kean asked while we were on the elevator.
"No, magdi- dinner ako with Gail," she called me yesterday asking if I'm free. I don't know her problem but she's crying when she called.
