"Anong oras ba magla- land yung eroplano para makapunta na agad ako?" tanong ni Indira.

Iniligay ko muna yung maleta ko sa compartment bago nagsalita.

"Ang aga,"

I spent my 5 months travelling in various countries. I went to Japan, South Korea, Italy, Netherlands, Singapore, and Malaysia. Naghihingalo na yung bank account ko kaya umuwi na ako sa Pilipinas. Nakakapagod pero sulit. I feel like nai- release ko laaht ng stress.

Those five months passed and I haven't talked to my mother even once. She didn't reach out din naman so I think it's not entirely my fault.

Mahiwaga, pipiliin ka sa araw- araw.

This line of the song brought ache to my chest. I was close to choosing him as my mahiwaga, as my araw- araw.

But I realized when he acted like that noong nalaman niyang na- aksidente yung Loren that he is not my mahiwaga.

For now, at least.

Sarili ko yung mahiwaga na dapat kong piliin sa araw- araw.

"Kylie! OMG namayat ka at nagbloom ka pa lalo! Akala ko pa naman may kasama ka ng foreigner pag- uwi mo," tumakbo agad si Indira sa akin noong makita niya ako.

"Luh, walang pogi doon,"

"Wala nevermind! Halika ka na sa first branch ng restaurant ko. Libre kita!"

During those five months, Indira managed to open her restaurant. I felt envy for a second because at this time, she's already establishing her career while I'm still jobless.

"Oh ayan yung menu,"

"Hmm. I like to try this tuna pasta,"

"Nako tama ka ng pinili girl, best seller namin yan!"

"Back off." sabi ko agad. Walang tao sa cr dahil hindi ngayon peak hours.

"Bakit? Wala naman akong ginagawang masama ah," he then stared at me intently. Hindi ko siya pinansin at dumiretso na lang sa cr. Akala ko ay tapos na pero paglabas ko ng ay nandoon siya at naghihintay.
