Naraka: 11 BBY
Naraka Prison
Ryn AleraRyn slunk around a corner as soon as a group of stormtroopers had made their way past. She waved a hand to the others behind her. Mirk and Feylin crouched by her feet, with Elide hidden behind them. "The databanks are in there," Ryn whispered. "I'll get what we need. You guys will need to stand watch."
The three of them nodded and backed away. Ryn waited for two more stormtroopers to pass before darting across the hall. She kept low and silent as she entered the room. A few officers sat behind the large consoles. Ryn kept an eye on them and inched her way towards a small outlet in the console.
She slipped her wrist comm off her cuff and clipped it into the outlet. Ryn glanced back outside of the room. Feylin, Mirk, and Elide had moved out of sight. She pulled her attention back as small words were projected from her comm. Ryn scrolled through the data until she came to the prisoner's information.
"There you are," she whispered. She quickly scanned the data and unhooked her comm. Ryn began backing towards a door.
It opened with a hiss. Ryn stifled a gasp and rolled underneath a large shelf. She tried to keep her breath silent, although she was certain they could hear the rapid beating of her heart. A few stormtroopers entered the room, grumbling.
"I don't know. Maybe those pilots got the crates messed up or something?" One of them was saying. Ryn silently switched her comm on so that the others could hear.
"Not likely. I think we've got another problem on our hands. We should increase security around the rebel prisoners until command tells us the ship was seen leaving."
"You're just overreacting."
"It's better to be cautious." Their feet moved away from her hiding place. Ryn army crawled into the open and dashed out the door. Mirk pulled her into a supply closet nearby. The door sealed and locked behind them.
"That was close," Elide whispered.
"Yeah, too close. The rebels are just a few levels down," Ryn said.
Feylin narrowed her eyes. "Do you think they'll be increasing security?"
"Maybe. I don't want to wait and find out. Let's get going." Ryn let the door open a small amount. There was no one in sight. The door opened the rest of the way and they sprinted into the hall. Mirk pointed to an empty lift close by. The four of them ducked inside. Ryn selected the appropriate level. The lift jolted as they headed down.
"We still need a plan for the AT-ST," Mirk said.
Ryn rolled her kyber crystal between her fingers, thinking. "We need to find an armory. The rebels here will need weapons and there might be explosives."
"I'll find it," he volunteered.
"Let's find some rebels to go with you, first of all." The lift halted and hissed open. "Blast the cameras," Ryn ordered. She leveled a blaster and quickly stunned two stormtroopers before they had a chance to spot her.
Elide and Feylin blasted at the security cameras that lined the detention hall. Mirk ran on ahead towards the cells. Red plasma covered the cell openings. The rebels within them stood, shock written across their features.
"Who are you?" A man asked.
"General Alera from Admiral Raddus's fleet," Ryn replied. She quickly opened the cell and shook the man's hand.
"Captain Pol," he replied.
"Captain, Mirk here is going to look for an armory. Care to accompany him?"
