"I gotta go sometimes
But you're always on my mind"
Helplessly - Tatiana Manaois

After I dropped off Corbyn's phone, I drove straight back home. Well, actually no. That's a lie. I went to Starbucks to get a drink and snack since I was getting a little hungry. Plus, traffic on the way back to Pasadena was brutal - as usual. Although the drive from Pasadena to LA isn't too bad, it might be easier if I just move to LA. Mia and I have been talking about getting an apartment there since senior year of high school anyways. So why not? Even though I've graduated and don't have a reason to go into the city everyday, I still go to LA for a lot of reasons.

One of them being Corbyn...

Speaking of Corbyn, I haven't heard from him yet today. He's probably still out like Jack said, so I'm not that concerned. There's just so many things I wanna talk about with him. For starters, that kiss. I wanna say we were just lost in the moment, but it feels like it's so much more than that. It felt good. Really good. I don't know if it was so good I'd do it again but-

That's a lie. I'd definitely do it again.

Okay so it was good. Well no...good is an understatement. It was perfect. But as perfect as it was, and as much as I'd do it again, I can't. At least not now. We're friends, just last week we were strangers. I love the rush, but I don't want us to burn out. I don't know what me and Corbyn are, but what I do know is that we're not official. We're friends who went on a date to see where things would go, and we got caught up in the moment. A really good moment.

"Gone so soon I see. But you're back, so now you can tell me where you went." I look at Magnolia who greets me as I walk into the foyer. "You seem awfully chipper." I tell her as I walk into the kitchen. I throw my empty frappe into the garbage and put away the uneaten half of my sandwich in the fridge.

"Oh I'm doing just fine, but back to you. How was your date?" she says, almost singing her words. I don't think I've ever seen her so...Peppy. "It was good, it was perfect." I say. She responds with a squeal. If that didn't wake up everyone, I don't know what else will.

Jordan then walks into the kitchen, messy hair and all. He yawns as he searches through the fridge for something to eat. He takes my sandwich that I was saving for later and immediately takes a bite from it. I look at him, jaw dropped. "I was saving that." I tell him with a glare.

"You snooze you lose." he says, continuing to eat the rest of my sandwich. "It's 12:45! If anyone's snoozing, it's you." I scoff as I see him devour the last bits of the bread. Unbelievable. There's an awkward silence between the three of us. I look at Maggie who's looking at Jordan who's looking at the wrapper of his finished sandwich.

"Well don't stop the tea talk on my account, keep going." he says, motioning with his hands for us to keep talking. Maggie then looks at me, giving me her "spill it" look. I shake my head no at her, waiting for Jordan to leave the room. Every single time we talk about guys, he makes the most unnecessary and annoying comments, but he's our brother, it's his job for him to annoy us.

"So where'd you guys go?" Maggie asks, starting the conversation. Looks like Jordan will have to join our little tea session. "We first went to Chipotle for dinner and-"

"Chipotle? How romantic." Jordan says. It's not my fault Corbyn knows the way to a girl's heart and he doesn't. C'mon Jordan, I thought you knew better than that. I roll my eyes at him, continuing with the story.

"He then took me to this office building and-" I see Jordan open his mouth to talk, but I hold my index finger up to stop him. "We went inside and went up the elevator. He then blindfolded me and led me out to the roof where he set up this canopy with pillow forts and string lights, it was just perfect." I look at Maggie, who's nearly tearing up, completely speechless. Jordan on the other hand, is more shocked and maybe even impressed. I wouldn't be surprised if he was taking notes right now for the next date him and Mia will go on.
