Chapter 10

The morning came fast and unlike my usual mornings i decided to go for a run. I jumped out my window and shimmied down the willow tree next to my window. I shifted and spotted another wolf, caleb? what was he doing out here this early.

I felt a surge of dominance and Magic took over 'no magi no' she didn't respond Just before she reached him he spun and I saw his wolf take control, ah shit it was Magic against Forest. Battle of the Alphas any alpha without a pack would respond to the signal Magic sent out. I lunged straight at him, well my body did But it was Magic in control not me.  she caught him on the shoulder but he threw her off and snapped his jaws missing her ear by millimetres, slowly the pack started to trickle out of the house and I saw Alpha Gryff, Alpha Jacob and Alpha Tyson (Luke and Caleb's dads) standing there looking unsurprised but still tired. My mum spotted a man I didnt know and rushed to him Honey! your dad is home from the military I wanted to run over and give him a huge hug but instead Magic just fought harder to keep control. A set of jaws latched onto my neck, shit we were losing, I shook my head and clamped my jaws around the back of his throat. i heard a new voice in my head Love, just give her control, Magic knows what she's doing. I trained her. Yeah but I'm nervous as to what she will do.

My dad gave me a glare and I sighed giving her control. I felt a different presence, Luke or well, his wolf Dark. Dark lunged straight for me and I grabbed his back and tossed him against the willow tree, Forest jumped over me a bit into his neck but not hard enough to kill just to say hes better. Dark cowered against the tree. Forest and I kept fighting for a while but again we ended up holding each others throats, I pressed harder and heard a small click, he clamped his jaws tighter and there was another click. The alphas decided to intervene now, Alpha Gryff shifted into a big reddish grey wolf and dragged a snarling Caleb away and A large charcoal and white wolf dragged me away for some reason I recognised the scent but not the wolf then it hit me, like a brick, trust me I know I've been hit by a brick before. 'Dad?'  of course love, who else? Magic gave me control back and we shifted back "Go get ready for school I made french toast with maple syrup, sugar and hot chocolate. You liked it when you were a kid and you're mum told me she never made you breakfast anymore you just ate half the fridge" he raised his eyebrow and I grinned sheepishly "uh yeah, i grab a whole bunch of food and then leave for school, but thanks dad! it still is my favourite breakfast" I bolted upstairs and threw on a pair of blue ripped jeans, a red shirt with the number 82 on the the back and my favourite grey hoodie. I leapt down the stairs, taking them four at a time, mind you I tripped multiple times and tumbled down a whole heap of steps, but when I got down there I was greeted with a double bear hug. "eek i cant breathe, put me down" I was shrieking  loudly so finally my dad and Ryan put me down "I almost forgot to mention, Happy birthday love" my dad kissed my forehead, his nickname for me was love, I'm not sure why though, eh i don't really care anyways. since I still had about an hour and a half before school I took my time to eat. Ryan was still half terrified of me from this morning, any omega or zeta witnesses would be terrified of me for a while. Finally after an hour and a bit of procrastinating it was time to leave "Love you dad, love ya mumsies see ya Ry" I jogged through the forest until I caught up with Caleb and Luke "hey, I'm so sorry guys, Magic took control and I couldn't stop her" Caleb looked solemn "Forest did the same with me, but Luke, damn Dark is such a submissive Alpha. Your mate will definitely be the dominant in your relationship" Luke sulked "Dark is such a coward I don't know how he's an Alpha" I lightly whacked his chest and felt tingles shoot up my spine...SHIT... what am I going to do?????? calm the fuck down, just dont tell him and let him figure it out on his own

"Hey Caleb, do you have any idea as to why the Alpha's just let us fight." he scratched the back of his neck sheepishly "Yeah, my dad told me that all alphas do it when they dont have a pack. They will fight for dominance to see who will have the bigger land or better pack. My dad warned me it would probably happen soon, sorry that I didn't take the necessary precautions" I smiled at him "it's okay, my grandpa henry mentioned it when I was younger and training with him and my dad that all white wolves and Alphas will fight but I didn't pay much attention." I chuckled lightly "as soon as he mentioned the word Alpha I stopped paying attention because I never thought I would be an Alpha" he held up his hand "Truce?" I grinned "Truce, but Luke that includes you too. You guys gotta at least try to be nicer to me at school even if it just means controlling your friends a bit more." They both nodded.
