Ashlynn's Secret

~Ashlynn's POV~

={Before the date}= I walked away from Hunter, with a sigh and a tear running down my cheek.

I ran into the girls bathroom and lock myself in one of the stalls. I take off my ring and try to smile. "Oh Hunter.. if only you'd understand what I'm trying to say to you..."

I pulled my legs up to my chest and started to cry. Cornelius never actually loved me, I never actually loved him either.

The only reason I dated him was because something was up with that guy, and I needed some answers. Hunter would never let me hang out with him, so I had to go on my own.

But I tried to signal Hunter. He didn't understand so I walked away, trying not to make it an awkward moment. He didn't understand what was happening to me while I was gone with Cornelius.

He forced me to go in dates with him and he almost got me... you should know what I mean. He tried to kiss me and almost got me killed by throwing me across the street! This guy was crazy!

Speaking of crazy his wallet fell out when he was going into his house, and left me outside. I looked at all his records, and turns out he's been murdering people. Especially the girls he's been dating!

Call me crazy, but he had a list too. It was a list of all the girls he was after and I was the last one.

The only reason I wanted Hunter to secretly come to the date was because I wanted to tell him all this, but I knew Cornelius would be watching so I would have to text him and pretend I was going to the bathroom.

I really love Hunter. I really do, but I'm afraid of him getting hurt, maybe worse. If Hunter dies, I die. And speaking of that.. I have a dark secret, but you cannot know. Not just yet.
