Say That You Care

~Ashlynn's POV~

I woke up next to Hunter, and I screamed. Hunter woke up and fell off the bed. "What happened!" He yelled. "Oh, nothing its just that you sleep in bed with me!" I yelled back.

Me and Hunter looked at each other, wide eyed. I pulled the covers over my head and muttered things to myself. Hunter left the room in silence and I heard crying.

I pulled the covers off and saw Hunter crying. "Hunter..." He looked at me with his eyes and I ran over to him. "Ashlynn, stay away." A confused look crossed over my face.

"Please.. I don't wanna hurt you." He whispered. "Why would you hurt me?" I ask. He didn't respond and I moved his hand. He had a knife held in it. "Hunter! W-did you have this with you all night?!" I yelled.

Hunter dropped the knife and started to cry. "Ashlynn, please help me." He hugged me and I felt something drip on my arm. I opened my eyes and saw blood. I looked at him and cried.

"Please don't tell me that you killed yourself.." Hunter nodded his head no and I looked around.

There was blood peaking from the scar on his arm. "The blood is coming from your arm?" Hunter nodded his head yes and I slapped him. "What did you do?!" Hunter touched his face and I stepped back. "H-Hunter... I'm so sorry I..."

I ran out the door and outside. I ran into the woods, barefoot and with no sweater to keep me warm. I was wearing a nightgown with spaghetti straps, of course I was gonna be cold.

Someone grabbed my hand and I turned around. It was Hunter. He was smiling and holding my hand real tight, but not hard enough to hurt me. Hunter pulled me close to him and then he kissed me! On the lips!

I couldn't believe it. My face turned red and my body temperature was quickly getting hot, hopefully Hunter didn't notice. I wrapped my arms around Hunter's neck and he threw his around my waist.

We couldn't let go and I wanted to but couldn't and I wouldn't. Not yet at least...

Hunter's POV:

I finally did it. I finally kissed her, and on the lips. I mean, this was the best day ever and I will remember it.

I need find a way to let go of Ash though. I couldn't let go of her, so I took my fingers and tazered her on her sides. She jumped and let go of me, out of breath. "Hunter!" She crosses her arms and I evily smiled (she thinks its cute).

"Who likes me now?" I evily smirk. Ashlynn smiles and laughes. "Very funny, Hunter.." She whispers, while looking down at her feet. I smile and blush a little.

We walk home togdther, and I stay happy, so does Ashlynn. When we got into her room, we both smile and blush at each other, thinking of stuff. This is what I was thinking of:

"Man, she is so pretty and beautiful. I really love her and want to kiss her again. No Hunter stop bring a pervert! Your not one your a boy who is nice, not perv."

I had no idea what Ashlynn was thinking about. Maybe it was about me- no stop bring a pervert Hunter!

"Hey, Ashlynn..?" I scaredly asked. "Y-yes Hunter?" She responded. "Do you even like me, or did you just kiss me because you didn't want me to know you didn't like me?"

Ashlynn stood up and walked over to me. She sat next to me against her bedroom wall and held my hand. "Hunter.. why would you think that?!" I whisper-yelled. I shrugged my shoulders and waited for her answer.

"Fine, you want the truth? I do you like you Hunter.. I just didn't want to tell you because I thought you would be weirded out by it." She whispered. I looked at her and smiled, then she smiled too.

"Oh and Hunter?" Ashlynn asked while letting go of my hamd and standing up. "Remember when you said that you would love me even if I didn't love you back?"

I nodded my head yes and froze. "How did you know that?!" I shouted. "I wasn't asleep, Hunter.." Ash smiled and hugged me. "I love you Hunter." I sighed happily and smiled. "I love you too, Ashlynn.."
