~Ashlynn's POV~

I invited Hunter to my house for his special surprise. He would be do happy because he's wanted one of these since he was a child, but his parents thought he was too irresponsible.

When Hunter knocked on the door and I opened it. Hunter looked at me and raised on eyebrow. "Ash? What are you hiding?" I took Hunter's hand and right him over to my bed.

I held a baby husky in my hands. It had gray fur, and unique blue eyes. "....." Hunter looked st the animal I smiled. "Thanks Ashlynn, but I don't think I can keep it all the time."

I frowned and looked at him. "Well maybe we can take care of him together?" I kindly asked. Hunter nodded his head and took the puppy in his arms.

"What should we call him?" Hunter asked looking at me. "Well he was rescued. His name is Ace." We both smiled and agreed to the name for the puppy. Ace it is. How cute.

"Is it trained?" Hunter asked grabbing a leash. "Of course! He doesn't need a stupid leash. He will stay at your side. He's a protective dog. You two would make best friends." I laugh.

Hunter lightly punches my shoulder and I call the dog over. I put on my blue converse, and a light jean jacket, then leave with Hunter to take Ace for a walk.

Hunter's POV:

As I'm walking with Ash on the left side of me and Ace on the right, I talk to Ash about some things planned for when school starts again. I was scared to go back though. It was only a few more years until, we were separated.

When we got to my house, I walked up to Harry's room and he ran up to the dog. "Its a doggy!" He yelled. I nodded my head and Ashlynn smiled, possibly laughing. "Yes it is, Harry." She excitingly responded.

My phone silently rang in my pocket, so I walked outside while Ash and Harry played with Ace.

Briar: "Hunter you have a serious problem. Ashlynn was telling you lies about some stuff. I don't know why you trust her. She's not trustful. I'm telling you the truth. She lied to me, and she's lying to you."

I froze and opened my bedroom door. Ashlynn looked at me and walked over, while Harry played with the dog. I pulled her hand and closed the door as we walked outside, into the hallway.

"Hunter what's wrong?" She asked with a worry tone in her voice. I shook my head and her eyes started to water.

"Do you really believe in all that?! Do you see what Briar is trying to do? She's trying to pull us apart and you're just gonna believe every single lying word she says about me?"

I looked down and Ash started to cry. "I do b-believe you, but it's just that- what?! That you don't care about me anymore? That you think I'm too regular for you?" She interrupted.

I shook my head no and looked at her. "Fine! You don't want to believe me, then don't love me either. I'm so done with you." She ran out the house and I turned towards the front door. "I do believe you, Ash.. but you don't believe me.."
