Shawn's POV

Teaneck, New Jersey, February 2001

I got up and stretched. I had to get ready to go to Houston. I went to take a shower and then get dressed. I went to Chanel's room and I had to get her up. She was hugging that SpongeBob that Kelly bought her for dear life.

I bent down and rubbed her back.

"Come on midget you gotta get up." I said.

After awhile she turned over.

"I don't wanna." She whined.

"But you gonna see mommy and god mommy and Michelle and grandma and papa and Auntie Solo." I said.

She turned over again and looked at me and yawned. She lifted up her hands. I picked her up and we walked to her bathroom.

"Daddy, I wanna see Nae Nae." She said.

"Nae Nae is gonna be here when you get back." I said as I started her bath water.

"Okay." She said.

I helped her out her clothes and bathed her and then we brushed her teeth and got dressed.

"What you wanna wear today midget?" I asked.

"Uhm, shorts." She said.

"You can't, it's cold outside." I said.

She looked at me.

"That daddy." She said pointing towards me.

"What? What I'm wearing?" I asked.

"Uh huh." She said nodding.

I was wearing an Adidas tracksuit and I guess she wanted to be like daddy today. I looked through her clothes and she had about three different ones. I picked the purple one. I got her dressed along with some shell toe Adidas to match. Now to do her hair. I've gotten pretty good at a ponytail. I put her hair in a ponytail and it actually looked good.

"Daddy, I'm hungry." She said.

"Okay, let's go to the kitchen." I said.

We walked to the kitchen and I sat her down.

"Daddy, La La La." She said.

"You wanna hear the song?" I asked.

She nodded and I went over to the stereo to play it for her. The clean version of course. She bounced in her seat as I cooked her breakfast.
