"Who's that?" I shout from the bed. "It's me Winter, Josh."

"What do you want?" I say out rudely. "Come on, at least let me in before yelling at me." He says as I roll my eyes and stand up before walking up to the door. "An urgent work just came up so I've got to go."

"Is that what you came to my room for?"

"Yeah." He said in a very weird way. "Like you need my permission to go anywhere." I said rolling my eyes. "Yeah right, so just take care of your self and the house okay."

"Why are you acting so weird?" I asked with a confused look. "How?"

"Cause Natalia is here to take care of the house and since when did you start caring about me taking care of myself?"

"Look, I don't have time for all of this just do what I said. Natalia would give you your rules when I'm gone." He asked turning his back to leave. "Wait!" I yell when he is about to open the door. "What?"

"When would you be back?"

"I don't know Winter, it's an urgent meeting." He says like I'm supposed to know it. "What if your parents come when you're gone."

"Then, just be nice to them and tell them who you are they'll understand. Natalia would help you in that part. And if they ask of me, tell them something really urgent came up that required my attention okay." he said going out of the house.

Wow, this boy is full of surprises. I thought nothing would stop him from waiting to see his parents but apparently this meeting would.

I just hope he'll be back before his parents come cause I don't think I can face his parents alone even though Natalia's gonna be there. It would even be better of if she's not there. That girl acts and looks like nanny McPhee and there's something I just despise about them. I think it's the way she looked at my room that day. Gross, she made it look so bad even though it wasn't even that scattered.

I take out my phone to watch some YouTube videos when I see the trending news. Six year old Della was found dead on the streets this morning. She was shot.

How could people be so heartless? For God's sake a six year old child. The cases of murder this few days have been so much. Like it's not just two you've heard  I heard my subconscious say as I chuckle out.

I hear a knock on the door. It must probably be Natalia. "Come in." I shout feeling lazy to go get it as she walks in. "Josh said to give you." She said handing over the sheet of paper as my eyes scan through it. "He's gotta be kidding me. just two rules?" I say expecting Natalia to reply but she just stands there giving me this 'Oh you want more look'. I roll my eyes at her expression and get back to the paper again.

"My rules are simple winter. One is do whatever my mom wants you to, and the other is don't stick your nose in what's not your business. I hope you'll be able to keep to this rules so we can live in perfect peace with one another. Thanks."

I'm kinda fine with the second one cause sticking my nose in other people's business isn't my thing at all but the second one is the problem. How does he expect me to do all that his mom wants me to do. Isn't it like abuse? Well, maybe she isn't that kind of person. Why going through the stress when he could have just said it to me.

I let out a huge sigh before putting the paper on the bed to earn a disgusted look from Natalia. "What's up with the look?" I asked giving her a puzzled look. "What look?" She asked like she didn't know what I was talking about. "That disgusting look that makes you look like nanny McPhee." I asked as she raised one of her eye brow's. Darn, I hate how that stuff makes me feel. Probably because I've tried so hard but still can't even raise the two. "You know what? just go on with what you were doing." I said as she turned to leave.

I could hear her mumble something when she was about to close the door. "I'm sorry what was that?"

"What?" She asked confused. "I thought I heard something."

"I didn't say anything."

"Well, I'm not hearing things."

There's no way I'm gonna believe she didn't say anything. "I'm so sorry Winter but I don't know where that came from." She said  like she was so innocent.

I roll my eyes before letting out a sigh and shutting the door. I know for sure that that sound came from her but she definitely doesn't want to admit she said something. Any ways, her problems not mine.

I later ended up watching just one tragic movie on Netflix before passing out. I take out my phone to check the time and Omg, it's already six thirty. Josh's parents would be here in any moment and he's not even back yet.

I hop out of the bed to adjust my hair and put on my lip gloss. At least it's good to give a nice first impression. I walk down to the living room and turn on the TV when I hear a knock on the door. "Who's there?"
