I finally home after the uber guy ditched me and I had to go for a cab. It was really stressful but the great thing is I don't think I've had this much fun in weeks. I hop on my bed. I don't even know when I fall asleep.

My eyes fly open when I hear a knock on my door. It'd should probably be Kate. I lazily walk to the door and open it to find Josh standing with a straight face kept on. "Please don't spoil my day, it's already about to end," I say a silent prayer in my head. "What are you doing here?"

"My mom said I should come ask you how your day went," he says scratching the back of his head. What a douche bag. So he can't come ask me on his own. What am I even thinking, I don't even want him to.

"Oh, you weren't there so it was kinda like the best time I ever had since I came here."

"Whatever," he says rolling his eyes at me. "And Dad said you should apply for Yale, we're resuming in the next three weeks."

"What! in the next three weeks?" I blot out in surprise. "How would I get in if it's just in three weeks?" I say worried

"Don't worry my Dad has his ways," He says before turning to leave. I put my hand on my head. I'll figure the whole thing out tomorrow. But for now, I have to get my beauty sleep.

I don't bother about going to Kate's room, she's probably sleeping by now.

My eyes fly open due to the alarm. I check my phone for the time and it's 7:00am. It's as if this thing is fake. It only works when it wants to. I quickly go to the bathroom. I still can't believe Ash's coming over today. I just hope she doesn't end up kicking Josh's ass in the end. In ten minutes time, I'm done. I take out a skirt and a crop top and tie my hair into a pony tail. I smile at myself in the mirror remembering Kate's words to me. That reminds me, I have to ask her how this crazy tradition came about after all.

I knock at Kate's door and when she doesn't answer, I open it. "Kate!" I yell and she replies from the bathroom. "So how was your day yesterday."

"It was really great. Ash's coming over today."

"Omg, she says coming out of the bathroom. Could this get any better?" She says doing that her over dramatic thing again. "Come on, it's no big deal."

"What?" She says as I think of it again. "Okay, it is."

"Kate, since you came, I have been having the best days of my life."

"Oh, what can I say, I'm fun itself," She said rubbing her shoulders as I chuckle. "Thanks alot."

"You don't need to thank me little sis, it's my job," she says as I hug her wet body. "Okay this is starting to get gross now, I just bathed," she says pulling out of the hug.

She stands in front of me on just her under wears to pick a clothe as I notice her stomach. "Omg Kate, your stomach is starting to get bigger," I blot out to see her terrified face. "What?"

"Chill, you're pregnant, this stuff is bound to happen right?"

"Yeah but it doesn't to some people."

"Really, never heard of that before. Don't worry you'll still be my super hot cute attractive big sister."

"Awwn, thanks."

"I was meaning to ask you, do you know anything about how this stupid family tradition came up anyways?"

"Honestly, no. I suggest you should ask Emily. By the way, when last did you even talk to her?"

"I can't even remember. It's being very long though."

"I think we should do a video call with her tomorrow," Kate suggests as I quickly agree with her. "Can you believe we're resuming in the next three weeks?"

"What? have you even applied yet?"

"That's the problem, Josh told me to apply and then his Dad would take it from there but..."

"But what?"

"I don't know how to start."

"Come on Winter, you're a nerd. You always have stuff like that figured out."

"Okay I'm not a nerd. I'm a very social person," I say even though I know that isn't true. "Have you even ever had a boyfriend or gone out on parties or all those crazy stuff people do when they're in high school?"

"Okay maybe I haven't done all those stuff but I'm still fun in my own way."

"Yeah, we both know that," she says sarcastically. "Come on, am I not?"

"If I should be sincere with you, no."

"Ouch."

"Which is why opportunities like this come for you to kill it in college."

Yeah, as always she's right. I'm totally gonna be a different person in college. Not in the inside but on the outside.

"Let's go down for breakfast," she says as we both go down the stairs. Surprisingly, Kayla's not here and we see a new face. Whoa who's this cutie. "Good morning guys, this is my husband, Kashton. Kashton, this is Winter and Ka.."

"Kate," Kashton says as I see the both of them starring at each other awkwardly. "Okay have the both of you met before?" Edna asks confused. "Yeah, from summer camp back when we were in high school."

"Oh my God, it has been so long. how are you?" Kate says looking so happy. "I'm good. You?"

"I've never been more better."

"So you're married?"

"Yeah, to Jason."

"Oh my God, I knew you two would end up together. You know babe, back then, they were the hottest couple in summer camp," Kashton says referring to Edna. "No kidding, it must have probably been a dream come true."

"Believe me, it was the best dream come true for me. It was like a fairytale."

Yeah, I wish mine would be like that too.

"I'm so happy for you."

"Thanks."

"So, you guys have kids already?"

"No not yet, I'm pregnant."

"What! you are? I barely noticed," Edna says as Kate turns to me and smiles. I roll my eyes and let  out a chuckle.

"Okay, let's sit and have breakfast before it gets cold," Edna says as we all start digging into the hot potato pie.
