(POV: SIMON)

Why was Simon such an idiot? He'd been so excited because it was such a rare experience, that he'd almost lost his head. He was drunk on his own excitement. He shouldn't have behaved so crudely when talking to Athena, especially since His Royal Highness was there. And he definitely should not have stepped past his bounds by giving him my jacket and holding his hand. Of all the stupid things Simon could've done! But... had it really really been all that bad? It had been so soft, small and gentle. Nahyuta's hand had felt warm against his. He almost missed the feeling.

The runt came over for tea like he always did and he spoke to Nahyuta about what he'd been doing recently. Nothing that Simon was too interested in. Though, the pair of them were fairly quiet compared to usual. Was Apollo still flustered from yesterday? As they fell into yet another silence, a knock resonated on the oak door. They gestured for Simon to go open it and he sighed, walking over to the door and opening it just a crack to see who was outside. Klavier? What business could he have here? As Simon was distracted by this thought, he managed to wiggle past him like the typical bard he was. From behind him, Simon heard the thump of a body hitting the floor. Apollo must have fallen out of his chair. He turned to look... and lo and behold! He was right! Imagine that. Klavier extended a hand to him, pulling his boyfriend up off the floor.

"Thanks..." the runt said quietly, dusting off the floor he'd gotten on him as well as a large portion of flour. Simon coughed as the white powder filled the air.

"This a friend of yours Apollo? I'm quite hurt you didn't tell me about them. I had assumed I was your friend, just as you are mine. Is it something to do with that scar of yours?" His Royal Highness said, faking a pout. He added that last question quietly, like it was an afterthought and neither Apollo or Klav seemed to hear him. Wait... had he not met Klavier before? Simon had just assumed he had, seeing as he was friends with Apollo and all.

"No! No... it's not like that Nahyuta! We're not friends!" Apollo shouted, blushing and waving his hands around frantically. There it was again, his ridiculously loud voice. And oh, he and Klavier definitely weren't friends. From what Simon had seen, they were much, much more. At his comment, Klav turned a shade of pale he'd never seen on him before. Simon had seen him turn pale before -especially around certain people- but never this pale, he looked like he'd just been stabbed.

"But! I love you!" Apollo ignored this outburst from his boyfriend, too busy trying to explain himself to Nahyuta.

"What are you then if you're not friends?" Nahyuta probed. So Apollo hadn't told him after all.

"We're uh... just more than friends..." Apollo's voice was weak at this point, like he lost the courage to try and explain himself any further. Coward.

"Oh, so I'm not your boyfriend anymore Liebling? After all that we've gone through, I thought you loved me." Apollo tried to brush this off again, but Klavier wouldn't allow him to ignore him this time. He grabbed the shorter man's face in his hands, pressing their lips together in a passionate kiss. Simon laughed audibly from the doorway where he still stood, startling them away from each other. He was mostly laughing at the expression on Nahyuta's face. The poor boy looked so confused and it suited him well, as did most expressions that crossed his face.

"Out. Don't do things like that in front of His Highness." Simon said, shooing his friend and his tiny lover away. Klavier grabbed Apollo's hand, gently pulling him along with him as they left. The pull wasn't forceful or anything, more like he was just trying to lead him somewhere. Simon hadn't noticed that Apollo had a burn scar on his inner right wrist before. It looked pretty bad. Where ever had he gotten something like that? Someone would've had to forcefully burn it, judging for the angle and position of it. But who...? Given how he was related to Klavier, Simon had a small idea of who, but he didn't want to think that he would do something like that to someone as nice as Apollo. A slam against the wall outside, jolting him out of his thoughts.

"Pardon me for a moment Nahyuta." he said, bowing his head to the prince before ducking out into the hallway.

"Don't do it in the hallway either!" he shouted at Klavier, shooing him away again. That was most certainly not the place.

"Whatever do you mean Simon?" His Royal Highness stared at me as he returned inside, cocking his beautiful head in confusion. He couldn't possibly be that deprived; could he? Simon tilted the younger man's chin up, lifting Nahyuta's face towards his own so their lips were almost touching.

"How about I show you?" What an absolute idiot Simon was.
