Simon woke up with a pounding headache and lilac hair brushing against his face. The last thing he could manage to remember was that Dick had passed out drunk on the balcony table -oh, he was still there- and that he had continued to drink, and then it went blank. What the hell? Had he actually ended up getting drunk? It seemed that way from his headache and the fact that everything from last night was drawing a complete blank... also he felt like he had to puke. He ran to the bathroom, letting Nahyuta go. Simon would have to wait for him to wake up to get any answer out of him.

~~~
Apparently bad decisions had been made last night and they most likely involved alcohol. Ugh. Simon felt terrible. He wandered back into their room, walking over to the bed and running his hands through Nahyuta's hair. Strange, it was down.
"Simon..." he muttered sleepily, halfway rolling over and almost smacking Simon's knee.
"Yes?" Simon responded before he realized that he was still completely asleep. Holy Mother, he was stupid. He sat there for a while, running his hands through Nahyuta's long silky hair as he slept. What a rare chance to see it down like this, he never took it out of the braid. It was really quite beautiful. He began to talk in his sleep, muttering Simon's name every so often. Every time he did it, the redder Simon got. Thank goodness no one else was in the room -save from Dick, but he was still blacked out- or they most certainly would've teased him for how red he was. Stupid pale skin, it wasn't his fault he turned so red. Blame the years he had spent without sunshine.
"Good morning Simon... why are you so red?" Nahyuta said, finally waking up for real. Of course that would be his first question, but Simon would forgive it because he was so beautiful.
"It's your fault you know."
"How is my fault? I was asleep until just a moment ago."
"You were... ah... how do I say this... talking in your sleep..." His face flushed even deeper and Nahyuta laughed, pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek. Simon loved his laughter, it was always so soft like the sound of bells.
"I see... please don't tell anyone about that. It's our little secret." He nuzzled his face into Simon's shoulder. Goodness, he adored this man, he was just too cute.
~~~

"Good morning Apollo." Simon said as he walked down the stairs to the kitchen. The tiny baker nodded a hello in response as he leaned back against the counter, practically half-asleep. He seemed to be waiting for something to come out of the oven. Pie maybe?

"What's up with you?" he asked him, glancing him up and down. He looked tired and out of sorts. Something was definitely wrong and Simon didn't need Athena's super hearing or his magical little bracelet to tell him that.

"Nothing much, I was late for work again this morning and I haven't been getting much sleep, but other than that, I'm fine." He didn't look fine, that's for sure.

"Is it about Klavier?" He flushed, so Simon had probably hit the nail on the head. He was no genius when it came to detecting people's tells, but he had studied under the country's most well-renowned psychiatric researcher - so there was some talent in the region. Apollo sighed, his fingers brushing against that terrible burn scar on his right wrist.

"I figured you could've guessed something like that. You're not as dense as Nahyuta. My answer is... complicated. While it is about something Klav and I have been discussing, it's not about him personally. It's been weighing on my mind, what we're talking about."

"You're not having trouble are you?" Let's hope not, poor Klavier would be heartbroken. He didn't need anybody else he loved to abandon him.

"Oh no, nothing like that! We're fine!" Apollo protested, shouting pretty loud for what tiny lungs he had. Guess Nahyuta was right about those Chords of Steel.

"Good." Simon grabbed two plates for breakfast and headed back to their room, nodding goodbye to Apollo as he went up the stairs.

"So... what's with the sleep talking Nahyuta?" Simon asked his boyfriend, deciding to tease him about his little habit. He flushed, setting down his fork and grabbing my hand.

"I'm sorry about that. It's been a bad habit that I've never been able to curb ever since I was a child. Apollo used to complain about it all the time." Why would Apollo complain about it? Oh right... they were brothers. They'd shared as room at the very least, if not a bed.

"I find it cute... I love you Yuty." Simon smiled at the prince as he flushed harder, running a hand through his still unbraided hair.

"Yes... I love you too." How badly he wished that things could stay just like this, but in his heart, he knew a storm was coming and there was nothing he could do to stop it. It would sweep all of their lives right off of their feet. Simon only wished that there was something he could do so things would stay the same and never change. He didn't want Nahyuta to have to cry.

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter, but the next few are going to be long and heavy so I wanted a short and lighthearted chapter. Buckle in, this is the last truly happy one for a bit
