Nahyuta glanced up at Simon's balcony when he heard the cat meow at the top of it's lungs, glaring at the creature that had stirred him from his prayer. Simon! Shut up that cat! Simon's hair was down, the raven black dripping over his shoulder. Wait a minute... since when had he looked this attractive to Nahyuta? He was just a dumb panda... not anything worthy for a prince to be looking at!

"Hey Simon! Does that cat ever shut up?" Nahyuta shouted up at the balcony as the cat kept screaming at its owner.

"Sadly no, he's just like the person who gave him to me." He leaned down, picking up the cat and petting its belly gently.

"That must be annoying..."

"I can deal with my sister and I can deal with this dumb cat, they're not too different," He set the cat down again and it ran off into his room, its fluffy calico tail swaying behind it, "you shouldn't be out in the garden so late, you'll catch a cold again. Go back inside Nahyuta."

"I will in a minute, I have something I want to ask you first."

"Couldn't it wait until you're back in your room?"

"No, it's easier to ask you while you're here."

"Well, shoot then." He leaned against the balcony rail, leaning closer to the ground, closer to Nahyuta.

"I was wondering... are you truly planning to go early to Klavier and Apollo's wedding? Apollo kind of threatened me."

"And Klavier is probably going to kill me if I don't, so it's better if we do just go early." He laughed at his own morbid humour and a small blush spread across Nahyuta's face. Simon should laugh more, it made him feel good to hear his laughter. And to see him smile. Nahyuta turned from the balcony, following his request to go inside. Simon...

Nahyuta left the door open, he'd only closed it the day before because he'd been confused about what Apollo and he had talked about. He hadn't wanted Simon to see him like that.

"Simon... would you like to come in for a cup of tea?" Nahyuta said, poking shyly out into the hallway. He wanted to apologize for saying he wanted to slap him yesterday, as well as for a few other things he'd done to him recently that he kind of regretted. But he couldn't find the words, so he'd just have to show him through his actions. Nahyuta didn't want him to think he hated him. He nodded, entering only as Nahyuta gestured for him to come in.

"Weather's nice today." he said, glancing out at the sky from the balcony. Nahyuta blushed, nodding. He was without words again, as he always seemed to be when it came to Simon. He reached out a hand, resting it over Nahyuta's. He blushed harder, the motion itself was so simple, it shouldn't have been something that embarrassed him so much. ...But, his hands just always felt so natural in Nahyuta's. Simon smiled at him... why did he always do that? He had someone else that he loved, he should save those smiles for that person.

They spent the afternoon on the balcony, Nahyuta reading a book on astronomy -he'd developed an interest after my recent visits to the Observatory- and Simon sitting nearby and watching him- as well as reading his own book. Every once in a while, he'd glance up at Nahyuta. He figured he was checking to see if he was still okay. He was perfectly fine, Simon didn't need to worry so much about him. There was a small chance that it was something more than his bodyguard duties, but it was only little more than 1 percent. Simon could never be in love with him. He wanted someone else and it was most certainly not Nahyuta. It would never be him.
