Why did Simon make so many dumb mistakes when it came to Nahyuta? Taking him to the tavern in town the other night had been another huge mistake. Whenever he was around him, he seemed to mess up. Nahyuta had just looked so uncomfortable and out of place. Simon turned and knocked on the prince's door, he need to apologize to him... and while he was at it, he might as well apologize for the other stupid things that he had done. He kept knocking for a while, before he decided to just go in. Nahyuta was still asleep, as he usually was at this time. What had Simon been thinking knocking on the door? He couldn't answer it if he was still asleep. He really was gorgeous, it didn't matter if he was asleep or awake. Simon brushed away a strand of lilac hair that had fallen in his face, keeping his hand there just a little while longer than necessary. His face flushed as he thought that if he timed it right, he could do this every morning. No, don't give him any more stupid things for him to be mad about, Simon! That is a very bad idea! Simon returned to the hallway before his thoughts could get any worse. Being around Nahyuta was dangerous!

When His Royal Highness finally awakened, he dragged Simon to the library with him. He'd run out of books to read, all cooped up in his room. If he wanted things to do, Simon would be happy to escort him into the city, but this seemed to make him happier, so this is what they did. It was the first time he'd been to the Royal Library, the collection was so large, and it reminded him of the library back in his home.
"It almost reminds me of the library in my family home." Simon said, running his hands over a few books. He hadn't even heard of most of these books and some even seemed to be in languages he had no idea how to read.
"It couldn't possibly compare." Nahyuta laughed. Holy Mother, he had a beautiful laugh. And a beautiful smile... Simon wished he would smile a little bit more often.
"No, but it certainly rivals this." Simon said, laughing back and gesturing around the giant room. A frown then crossed his face, he missed going back to his family home. He rarely got the chance to go out there anymore, what with his job and all, and Aura hadn't gone back at all since their parents had died. Nahyuta ran off into the stacks, gathering the books he wanted to take back to his room. Guess being the crown prince had some perks, no one yelled at him for taking so many books. At the same time, Simon didn't want him to knock over some books and get hurt. That would certainly be a way to go. Luckily he gathered what he needed quickly and ran back over to him.
"Need some help carrying that?" Simon asked, gesturing to his large stack.
"That's what you're here for Simon." He dropped most of the pile into Simon's arms, only a few books left in his own. Unfair... he shouldn't make his bodyguard do all the work. Though, then again, that's kind of what he was being paid for.

Simon sat back on his bed after he dropped the books where he told me to. He took one out to the balcony and reclined back in the chair, leaning his cheek against his palm. He didn't throw a fit as Simon watched him from inside the room, unlike what he would've done just a scarce week ago. The two of them were becoming more comfortable with each other, he wasn't friendly to Simon all the time, but that was to be expected. No one could be friendly with another person all the time, except Klavier of course. Simon watched Nahyuta delicately turn the pages of his book. His hands were so soft and delicate... what would it be like to be able to hold those hands in his again? His heart started to pound like a drum... he would never allow it. He brushed some hair back from his face as he continued to read and Simon noticed that he'd begun to paint his nails a shade of pale green that almost matched his door. He thought it was one of the colours of their fair country, it was practically everywhere. Simon smiled to himself, it looked good on him- as did most colours- but of course, he would never be able to say anything about it to Nahyuta. He didn't need to appear as even more of an idiot to him. He wondered... what did he want their relationship to evolve into? Simon loved him more than he could imagine, but what did he want?
