Nahyuta blinked his eyes open slowly, feeling something warm pressed against his forehead. Someone's hand, probably. Instinctively, he smacked the person away.

"Whatever do you think you're doing?" Nayuta asked. No one had the right to do anything like that.

"Well, excuse me Your Highness. I was just checking to see if your fever had gone down." Simon said, holding his forehead where Nahyuta had hit him. Whoops, maybe he should've seen who it was before smacking them.

"What fever?" he asked Simon, cocking his head in confusion.

"Doesn't matter now, just get some more rest. I'll be in the hallway if you need me." Simon sighed, turning to leave. Nahyuta's heart began to beat harder as he left as he thought about his hand on my forehead. It had been so warm. Simon didn't speak to Nahyuta for the rest of the day, refusing to come back in lest he catch his cold.

~~~
Why Nahyuta couldn't just avoid this stupid party? He hated that he was feeling better, he almost wished his cold would come back so he wouldn't have to go. He sighed, running a hand through the hair surrounding his face. It was so dumb that it was requirement that all the members of the Royal Family. What if Nahyuta told his 'mother' and 'father' that he wasn't feeling well? Of course, that would never fly with the two of them, they'd make him go anyway. He would just have to bear it for the night. Oh Holy Mother, was Nahyuta going to suffer. The things he went through for this family, for this stupid act.
~~~

This party was every stupid thing that Nahyuta hoped it would be. Nobles mingling like they weren't involved in five different scandals at once- usually with other men's wives, merchants not even bothering to take a break for one stupid night- no, he didn't want to buy anything of the cheap wares you peddle, and the liar rulers in the centre of it all- just stop faking it already. These parties always wore down on his nerves. Sometimes he wondered if one of these parties was going to be the cause of the revolution, because he couldn't keep it together for a few hours. Everyone at these things was so fake and they expected Nahyuta to be as well. Too bad, he wasn't going to fake it for these people, the only reason he was even here was because fourteen years ago Dhurke had sent him here to keep him safe. That plan had worked just a little bit too well.

It started to piss me off how many people were asking about Simon, so Nahyuta started to down a glass of champagne every time someone did ask. Who's the scary looking man? Champagne. New bodyguard Your Highness? Another glass. Unfortunately, this came with terrible side effects. By the time Rayfa came to talk to him, Nahyuta was so drunk that he could barely see straight.

"So Big Brother... you gonna make a move on your bodyguard or what? You're sure staring at him a lot. The little brat. She thought he was in love with Simon. Bzzt, he was only Nahyuta's bodyguard... or at least that's what he thought he was. It wasn't exactly clear at the moment, everything was pretty fuzzy. Nahyuta didn't have a proper answer for his bratty little sister, so he just glared at her and poured a glass of champagne on her head.

"Ah! What... the hell Nahyuta?!" she screeched, swiping at the sticky liquid that was now covering the top of her head. Nahyuta smirked to himself, it was just what she deserved.

"I think we should go now, Your Highness." Simon said, running over and grabbing his arm. Nahyuta reluctantly allowed him to drag me away from the party. Good, he preferred it this way. He'd been looking for an excuse to leave. Thank you Simon Blackquill. Like always he was his savior from excruciating boredom. As he led Nahyuta back to his room, his hand still gently gripping onto his arm to keep him from falling over, Nahyuta somehow managed to trip on the stairs even with him holding him so tightly. He hit his back pretty hard, laughing as he did so. Laughing like it happened to someone else instead of him, like a typical nobleman. Simon sighed, helping Nahyuta stand back up. He grabbed an arm around his waist, pulling Nahyuta close to him. He really did have a handsome face if Nahyuta looked close enough.

"You're an absolute disaster Nahyuta..." he said, his voice sounding exasperated but yet somehow calm and understanding at the same time.

"Hee hee, I know Simon." Nahyuta laughed, gently petting his cheek. Ooooooo, his skin was so soft! Soft, soft! Just like his hair. His hair was so fluffy, like a kitty cat... fluffy... Nahyuta liked it, all fluffy. As they reached his room, Nahyuta was unable to keep himself from puking. Luckily, Simon had the proper decency to allow him to barf on the floor instead of on himself. Nahyuta leaned his head into his shoulder after he finished puking his guts out. Simon was so... soft... and that's where everything went black. The rest of the night was completely removed from his memory, thank the Holy Mother. There's no saying what weird thing Nahyuta did after that, and he really didn't want to know.

~~~
Nahyuta's head pounded as he sat up in bed. Stupid hangover, he couldn't remember a thing from last night. He must have drunk much more than usual for it to be this bad. Something must have really pissed him off.
"Morning." Simon mumbled from over by the desk. Wait a minute! This wasn't even his room! What in the world had happened last night?!
"Simon, please tell me we didn't do anything!" Nahyuta shouted, running over to him and grabbing his shoulders tightly. He smirked, reaching up and pressing a hand to Nahyuta's cheek. Nahyuta blushed, every time he touched him so casually made his poor little heart beat harder.
"You telling me you don't remember? But you were so gorgeous, honestly the most fun I've had in awhile." Why Simon? That's the exact opposite of what he had wanted Simon to say! He just had to go and say the worst possible outcome. Why would he oblige a Nahyuta that was so clearly drunk off his ass? Why?! Simon then laughed, smacking his thigh as he almost stopped breathing from his laughter.
"I'm kidding with you. You passed out in the hallway and I brought you in here because I was too tired and just wanted to go to sleep. You should really thank me." Thank him?! No, Nahyuta wasn't going to thank him! In fact, he was much more partial to the idea of smacking him! No, look at this rationally Nahyuta. The far better option was to just go to his room and ignore Simon. And he did exactly that, his heart pounding against his chest the whole short distance between their rooms. Simon easily could've lied to him, but Nahyuta wanted to believe that he wouldn't do that. Simon wasn't that kind of person... right?
