When Simon woke up the next morning, Nahyuta was curled around him, his head nestled into the crook of his neck. Why was he here exactly? Oh... right, he'd made Simon sleep in his room. He wanted to get up, but it wasn't worth it to wake up Nahyuta. Simon would wait for him to wake up, even though he had things to do and Nahyuta usually slept until eleven. Simon didn't want to disturb him when he looked so peaceful.

How could he not wake up even after four hours? Half of his freaking day was spent sleeping! For the sake of the Holy Mother, just get up already Nahyuta! Simon could hear Clonco screaming for food through the strangely thin walls. He usually fed him when he woke up, so not having him there was a new experience for the little guy. Seriously though?! How long was Nahyuta going to sleep for?! Simon gently tapped his shoulder, tried to shake him awake, and even smacked his face a couple of times. All of this was to no avail, he wouldn't wake up no matter how hard he shook or smacked him. He sighed, grabbing him into his arms. If he wouldn't wake up, he would just have to take him with him. What a pain. Luckily, he didn't weigh all that much. Simon laid him down on his bed, finally managing to get him off of him. As Clonco continued to scream at him, Simon poured the tiny brown pellets into his bowl, shoving it towards the tiny calico cat. He gently rubbed his head as he heard Nahyuta get up. He looked confused around Simon's room, like he'd never seen it before. Either he didn't remember or didn't care enough to take in the details of his room, but he'd been in here before. Simon stood from where he knelt, walking over to the side of the bed and pressing a kiss to his forehead. He didn't flush at the contact this time, he thought he was starting to get used to his strange way of showing affection.

"Simon... why exactly are we in your room?" he asked, glancing around the room in confusion again. Good, he did know where we were. Simon had been afraid he'd forgotten, which wouldn't have been all that good because it wasn't that long ago.

"I had to feed this stupid cat but you wouldn't let go of me."

"A thousand apologies." he said, yawning while his face turned a shade crimson Simon hadn't even known it could go. He didn't say this sarcastically, he was completely serious. He was so earnest that it was absolutely adorable. He glanced around the room, his eyes lighting up when he saw Clonco.

"Is that the cat?" He pointed at the tiny calico, which was currently rubbing itself against the leg of the desk chair. Simon nodded, picking him up and handing him to Nahyuta. Nahyuta placed Clonco in his lap, gently stroking him behind his ears. Was it wrong to be jealous of a tiny cat?

"Where'd you get him?"

"Aura dumped him on me... I didn't ask for this annoying little thing."

"Why would she get rid of such an adorable kitty?" It was like Nahyuta became a different person when he was half-asleep, he was never this adorable when he was awake. He was gorgeous, but he gave a completely different aura. It was strange to see him like this. Simon shrugged in response to his question, he had no idea why Aura would want to get rid of him. Unless...

"I wonder... is Clonco here one of the kittens that she and Metis took care of?" Nahyuta glanced at him in confusion before letting Clonco jump down from his lap as he got up. He wandered around the small room, well wandered around wasn't exactly the right phrase. More like he took two steps before he reached the desk. He picked up the picture of Miss Metis that Simon kept around to honour her memory before setting in back down and turning around to look at him, leaning back against the desk.

"Who is that woman Simon?" Was that a hint of jealousy that Simon detected in his voice? There was no reason for him to be jealous of Miss Metis, Aura had loved her more than he did. Simon had looked up to her as a mentor. But had he loved her? Never.
