Hogwarts crossover- fandoms United

Chapter 15

Afew days later, everyfirst year was hit with a surprise- On Thursday morning they would have their first Quidditch lesson! This was the perfect time, according to Tris. The Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs would miss potions (to Harry's annoyance) and the Ravenclaws would miss Transfiguration with the Slytherins. They would be split into 2 groups and be taught by either Mrs Hooch or the 7th year team captains. They could (luckily) chose their groups, so when they got outside, they all headed over to the group on the right, who happend to be the group with the 7th years in. They began to explain the rules of quidditch to them once everyone had arrived, and then they explaned their real reason for wanting to help the first years.

"We are looking for people to join our teams as, to be honest, our teams are all rubbish and nobody is turning up to the matches anymore. Hopefully, some of you should be good enough to join us, I know that Gryffindor needs at least two, Hufflepuff needs one or two, and I need one chaser." The Ravenclaw explained. The Slytherin captain had moved to the other group as most of the Slytherins were there. As soon as they were allowed to get up into the sky, Tris wizzed quickly up and got a feel for the broom. The instructors had created a corse for them to do. The first thing they had to do was a race.

Harry was miles infront and finished first, closly followed by Tris, Tobius, John and Peeta. However, Sherlock hadn't even tried to race, and Percy was watching from the floor, as he didn't work in the sky very well. Hermione and Annabeth both looked wobbly and finished in the second half. Katniss was about average, just infront of Hazel and Gus (who decided not to go in for the team because of their illness)!

After a few more trials (including obstical corses and different sized balls being thrown to them for them to catch or hit away) the team captains were decided. They told everyone to go appart from 5 of them. Tris, Tobius and John were scouted by their house captains and asked to be chasers, which they were estatic about! Peeta, though only a first year, was strong enough and accurate enough to be a beater for Hufflepuff, and Harry was chosen as seeker for Gryffindor. They came away very excited, and all of their friends were happy for them (all not being too confident about flying!). Even Sherlock said well done, even if it sounded a little sarcastic, and only to John.

They were talking about it quite loudly, and in Potions, the Gryffindors and Hullfepuffs were asked by Professor Snape to be quiet. They were working on a cure for boils, and the Ravenclaws in Transfiguration were concentrating more about quidditch then transfiguring their beetle into a button. Once the long lesson was over, they all met up at the library, but had to leave soon after as they were too loud!

Soon, after pasta for tea, they were going back to their common rooms to finish off their homework. John was also filling out an order form for his own broom, as he needed a new one for matches. His family were pretty well off, so he got the latest Nimbus 2015, which was a little more pricey, but an amazing broom. In the other common rooms, the other four were doing this too, appart fom Tris and Harry who were sending back for their brooms at home. Hermione was writing a letter to her parents to tell them about how good her first 2 weeks at Hogwarts had been. Although, she couldn't wait for the weekend coming up.
