Chapter 13

A/N Hey, I'm talking at the start today! I have written a chapter in Moriarty's point of view for this chapter, yet again being Sherlock, but every fairytale needs a good old fashioned villain. Also, make sure you have to read the chapter before as I posted 2 in one day, you may have missed it!

Slytherin.

Jim Moriarty was a boy who had known since he had found out about Hogwarts that he was going to be in Slytherin.

Yes Slytherin.

He was, quite frankly, a phychopath, so where else would he go other than the house of snakes? He had began to write a letter to his parents to warn them... No, sorry, let them know that he had been sorted into that house, but then he remembered that he didn't have any parents. He had ran away when he was a little boy after his father had hit him. Being an extremely clever boy, he had followed a wizard into diagon alley and discovered a world of magic and madness. And suddenly there was more to life than crime. It was a world with magic crime instead. When he had gotten his Hogwarts letter, he knew that he could finally achieve his dreams.

Dreams of crime.

He had entered the train and found a compartment to himself. That was how he worked. Alone. So he had been a little annoyed when a boy with light blonde hair had stepped into his compartment and started acting like he owned the place. But, being the unemotional person he was, he had calmly threatened the boy and he had run off to find another compartment.

And then he had been sorted into Slytherin, and had been forced to sit down, eat and talk to people around him. Not something he had wanted to do, so he had been eager to follow the prefect to the dungeon and his common room. His first few lessons had been boring.

BORING.

But he had had to go to them or risk being expelled. But he had to do something soon, or he would be happy to leave the castle. So, in his first potions lesson, he had been delighted to meet another boy who was a little bit like him.

Sherlock Holmes had been late for potions, so Snape had paired him up with Jim Moriarty. The short Irish boy who sussed out Sherlock nearly as fast as Sherlock sussed him out.

"Jim Moriarty. I'm-" He began, but was cut off by Sherlock.

"SO glad to be here" He finished, sarcastically. Jim frowned at him.

"Excuse me. I was going to say that it was nice to meet you, as I'm sure you were going to say back"

Sherlock snorted. "Not likely. You seem to think that there are more important things you should be doing. Care to elaborate" He asked in a deep, dangerous voice.

"Nope" He replied, popping the p. "No, not really." They got on with their work and began to chop up the ingredients they needed. After a few minutes, Jim seemed to be getting restless with the silence.

"I'd be careful if I were you, Sherlock. You wouldn't like to catch my intrest. I can do bad things." He warned, without looking at the taller boy.

"Oh really. I'll remember that." Sherlock said with a smirk on his lips. Suddenly Moriarty lashed out, grabbed Sherlocks wrist and looked into his eyes with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Oh, I think you should" He said calmly. "You wouldn't like to get on my bad side. Not for your sake, but for others you care about" With that, he stormed out of the class room with his bag, slamming the door behind him.

Sherlock was left open mouthed, until the potions master came up behind him. "5 points from Ravenclaw for annoying a Slytherin, Mister Holmes" He quietly said to him. Sherlock scowled, and finished his potion in record time. At the end of the lesson, he went with John, Hermione and Annabeth to the library where he entered his mind palace. He needed to know everything he could about that boy. He had a bad feeling about this.
