Professor Sprout soon arrived and told them to sit in tables with two from each house. Harry sat at a table with Percy, and two other Ravenclaw girls. Percy was sitting next to the taller one with grey eyes, so he sat down next to an excited girl. He cleared his throat.
"Hi. I'm Harry. Harry Potter." He began. The girl smiled at him whilst getting her book out and replied.
"I'm Hermione Granger. Nice to meet you. Across the table is Annabeth Chase, and I presume that's Percy J-Johnsonn, was it?" She replied, pointing to the other two.
"Percy Jackson." Harry corrected. "I remember his taking about Annabeth now, they new each other out of school, both halfbloods that met at the same summer camp their parents sent them to." Hermione smiled and agreed that that was night. He pointed to the other table which had his other two house friends on. "They're Tris Proir and Katniss Everdeen. They're my friends too."
"They look nice. They're sitting next to John Watson and... Sherlock Holmes." She informed him.
"Why did you pause before saying Sherlock's name?" He asked Hermione.
"Oh, he's... intresting, to put it nicely." Seeing Harry's confused face, she elaborated. "Ok, when Annabeth and I first met him, he was able to tell which lessons Annabeth was looking forwards too, what time she slept every night and how her parents thought of her. Just by his first glance at her. He calls it 'deductions'" She said. "He's nice, but a bit quiet and very stubborn." She warned
"Oy." Shouted Sherlock in his deep voice. "I can hear you. Nice to meet you, Harry Potter. Judging by your clother, I would say that you were home schooled before Hogwarts, have no siblings and have rich parents. Oh yes, and your father and his best friends are jokers. Very good ones at that." He comcluded. Everyone on their two tables had stopped to listen to the conversation.
Harry opened his mouth to ask how on earth he knew this, but the raven haired boy seemed to have predicted his speech too.
"New clothes, first hand which is expensive so you have a rich family, but also new shoes, which shows that you didn't have any school shoes, so you were home schooled. New clothes, so no older siblings clothes passed down, and everything in your bag screams only child, or you wouldn't have everything hand written with your name on, parents obviously only have one chance at this so are doing everything they can to do it well, but your Father slipped something into your transfiguration book with a note on in a different handwriting to the other writing, and it seems to be a joke of some sort? Better get that sorted out soon." He finished, looking proud of himself.
By this point, everyone in the class had stopped to lisiten, and were all looking at Sherlock. Apart from one person.
"Sherlock. Not again" Moaned John, his face buried in his hands.
" No, no, don't worry. It's... Cool." Harry said, awestruck. He smiled at Sherlock. "Pretty impressive, actually."
Shirlock smirked at John in triumph, and John looked shocked. It seemed that twelve students from different houses had somehow managed to become freinds, and considering who the people were, this did not look good for the future of Hogwarts!
A/N I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry about this update! Not only is it really short, but it's also really late. I've been so busy with family lately and of course Christmas, that I just haven't had the time to write any more! I also need to stop veering towards Sherlock all the time, but he is a character that can tell the reader lots of info on a person that would take longer to write down in their perspective. Now they're all friends, he should stop doing this!
Does anyone want to hear from anyone elses perspective in future chapters? Remember, I do have Moriarty, President Snow and Draco in Slytherin who I haven't talked about yet. Also, I have no idea where the plot for this story will come in! :D Anyway, happy new year if I don't update tomorrow, love all the people who read and vote for the story!
