"You found more information on her?" Seorin closed her bedroom door behind her, Hyerin plopping down onto the bed.
"I'm not sure if you'd call it that, it's more so just weird things to add to this conspiracy." she shrugged pulling out her laptop.
She punched in a couple of letters with her keyboard, opening up a few scanned documents she had gathered from the office.
"When does big head get home from university?" she questioned, realizing Mark would have to catch up at another time.
"He's probably just getting high with his frat boys."
"Pfft, I guess what they say about earth boys is true- they know a thing or two about leaves, if you know what I mean." Hyerin laughed at herself.
"That was such a terrible joke."
"What? It's an actual saying!"
"Just show me what you found, dummy." Seorin rolled her eyes playfully.
"Okay, so I've tried searching up everything with her name on it, nothing appears." she began. Her fingers clicked on the keyboard, typing something into the search engine.
"But when I search up Jisung's father's name, it says he was never married. Same thing with Jisung, it says he doesn't have a mother. Look at Mark's name when you search it up- it still says his mother's name even though she passed when we were younger."
Seorin blinked, not fully processing what she was trying to get at.
"What's it supposed to mean, Miss Law and Order?" she mumbled.
"Clearly someone with access to censoring the internet was behind this, and that could only be a government official because it's technically illegal to do this. It definitely has to be someone above your mom since she's head of the judicial branch." Hyerin further elaborated.
"The question is, why would they want to censor it? I mean, who really hates his mother that much?" Seorin bit her lip in thought.
"That leads me to my second discovery."
She pulled out a small item from her backpack, a disc enclosed in a clear case.
"What's that?" Seorin questioned, eyeing the rather old device.
She crinkled her forehead in confusion. "Wow, it's a DVD. Do you seriously think it's that old-"
"I'm not talking literally, stupid. I meant what's on it." she shoved her face into her hands.
Hyerin inserted the disc into her laptop, making a new tab open. She clicked onto the media player, hearing the CD player start rolling.
"It's the highway footage of that evening, I found hidden away in the severe accident files."
It was a black and white, grainy in quality. Displayed was a video of what seemed to be a normal day with light traffic, many passing cars zooming by. She fast forwarded a couple of seconds, multiple vehicles had passed.
