Seorin leaned over the sink, holding herself upwards to regain any stability.

As she glanced up at her reflection in the mirror, she caught sight of her image, landing onto one specific detail.

Gold.

For some reason, it affected more now than it ever did before.

Discomfort settled in her chest, itching to be fulfilled. She was unsure of what exactly she was feeling, but she knew one thing-

She still felt the same way she did three months ago.

"Stupid Jiwoon, stupid everyone." she mumbled, fanning her face to get a grip and cool down.

"Seorin!"

Miyeon and Hyerin entered the restroom, following the panicked girl after her sudden disappearance. Seorin's eyes didn't waver from where they were, distracted by the same golden swirls that mixed with the lilac shade.

"Hey- woah, your eyes..." Miyeon trailed off as she approached her, unaware of her abilities.

"Yeah, it happens sometimes." Hyerin muttered, standing behind the girl in the mirror.

"What does it mean?" Miyeon questioned, intrigued by the sight.

Hyerin bit her lip, turning Seorin on her shoulder. She faced her with an unreadable expression, mixed with concern and pain.

"You still love him, Rin."

With those words, the aching in her chest only grew, unable to come to terms with the emotions she seemed to have been trying to rid of for months.

It wasn't like she didn't want to anymore- it's just that loving him was dangerous.

It inflicted fear in her system, hearing the words of Jiwoon echo in her mind that slowly tortured her. It kept her up on restless nights, pondering between the different possibilities of what would happen to her or him.

"Look, this night isn't about him, it's about you." Miyeon pouted, brushing the stray strands of hair out of her face.

"Whatever's happened in the last three months or so, it shouldn't affect you tonight. This is your night, Seorin. We can worry about everything else another time, just live in the moment."

A small smile cracked on her lips, shakily nodding at the affirmations. "He's really there, I can't believe it." she breathed out, recalling the image of him from only a few minutes ago.

"Yeah, how does it feel?" Hyerin asked softly.

She looked down at her feet for a second, sorting through the different emotions that coursed through her body.

"Like he never left." Seorin replied, somehow feeling the same warmth and comfort she always did in his presence.

"We gotta get out there, the ceremony's gonna start soon." Miyeon held her hand gently, rubbing the top of it back and forth with her thumb.
