Slow claps were heard from the silent audience, feeling harsh footsteps approach them both.

"What a show, kids." Jiwoon chuckled bitterly, looking down at the two that had just confessed to each other.

"Just cause you guys have figured out your love story, doesn't mean everything still isn't on the line, you pathetic excuse of a son." he spat.

Jisung tried pulling himself up, but the pain in his ribs tied him back down. He fell right at Seorin's purple and burned feet, clearing his throat quickly.

"I'm sorry about your feet, seriously. I hope this helps them heal."

She smiled at him despite his intimidating father towering over them, healing the wounds with the water she still had in her palms.

"You're too weak to fight me now, this is just perfect." he grinned, throwing off his coat.

It revealed his clearly masculine build, seen through the white button up. Fear lingered in Jisung's eyes, already knowing what he was about to say.

"Park Jisung, I challenge you to a-"

"No."

Jiwoon raised an eyebrow to the smaller girl who got back up on her feet, kicking off the excess water. She looked up at the moon, channeling all the energy she could gain from it.

It coursed through her blood, giving her an adrenaline rush. Her eyes shifted from the rainbow hues to a light silver, making her entire eyeballs glow radiantly.

"Park Jiwoon, I challenge you to an Inferno." she hissed, cracking a smirk on her red lips.

"Seorin, what are you doing?" Jisung panted, looking up at her eyes that were fully lit.

Chenle and Hyuck dragged him away from the pavement before he could continue, pulling him out to his car.

"Well this is a fun change of plans, isn't it." Jiwoon laughed, eyeing her clearly smaller appearance.

"Whatever. Do the countdown, you old piece of shit." she spat boldly, dropping any sense of respect she ever had for the man.

Her father trembled in the sidelines with Minchul and Uncle Jin, too afraid to watch.

"Seojoon, I don't think you have to worry. She's utilizing her energy like a master. Her spirituality is way stronger than his." Jin examined her position, fascinated with the way she was upholding herself.

Only water shifting master's eyes could radiate silver completely on a full moon and Seorin did it simply.

"One."

Jiwoon clenched his fists, ready to burn her to the ground.

"Two."

Seorin held her hands towards the pond behind her, prepared to drown his lungs.
