Police sirens wailed as Seorin wrapped herself in a blanket, completely drained of all her energy.
The shifting-less man was handcuffed and thrown into the car flashing red and blue, helplessly drained from all his spirituality.
"I can't get over that, it was so fucking cool!" Mark jumped up and down shaking his fists, earning a dirty glare from Minchul.
"Language, kid." he clicked his tongue, flicking a pebble to his son's forehead playfully.
"You looked so cool! Your hair was like flowing in the wind and your skin- don't get me started. I've never seen your highlight so vibrant!" Hyerin giggled.
"It's like my eyes were burning with spiritual rays shooting out of them." Seorin joked, shaking her head.
"Seorin, dear. What did I tell you about blood shifting?!" Uncle Jin approached her, finally scolding her for the impulsivity of her decisions. His loving face was scrunched up in an attempted intimidating expression, making her grin even wider.
"I mean, my shifting is still here, right?" she chuckled, causing the old man pull her into a hug.
"I'm so proud of you. I hope my own daughter grows up to be like you- all three of you kids, actually." he embraced the rest of his favorite children with his other arm, warming them up with his loving touch.
Mark smiled sorrowfully, knowing they were the closest thing to a child he could have after his wife left with his daughter.
"I love you, Uncle." he grinned, holding on a little tighter.
"We love him more!" Seorin and Hyerin squeaked in unison, bringing them all back to when they were kids.
Their parents looked at the sight endearingly, internally thanking the man who raised them when they were busy leading the Republic.
"Where's Jisung?" Seorin finally remembered after being overwhelmed with all of her thoughts.
Seojoon bit his lips, clearing his throat before speaking. "They took him to the hospital to get checked up real quick, but I think he's gonna he heading to the ICU with your mother."
Seorin's mouth fell agape, shaking out of Jin's arms.
"His mom, she needs me." her voice was panicked, looking around for any of their cars.
"Seorin, dear. You can't blood shift the energy of the tumor out of her, you're already too drained from tonight." Uncle Jin frowned, making her mind wash with concern.
"We have to go, we have to see if she's okay!" she pleaded, walking over to Mark's car.
"She's right. Miyeon isn't answering her phone and they've been there for almost an hour." he sighed, following behind her footsteps with her heels in his hands.
