After the doctor left and Dimitri and I composed ourselves about finding out the genders of our little miracles, Sydney let Adrian into the room and he smiles at the two of us. He looks at our aura before sitting down next to me and taking my hand. The hot and cold sensation passes through me and I bolt upright and move my hand from his.

"Adrian! Don't waste your spirit on me," I exclaim but he waves me off, looking a little paler than normal. "I've been practicing, it's ok. Besides, I'm not using that much. They are burns, it isn't like you broken your legs," he says standing up and stumbling slightly.

"Thank you," Dimitri says, standing up to help Adrian downstairs and Sydney walks over and helped me up from the bed.

"So, a boy and a girl. Looks like you two got the best of both worlds," she says, and I smiled at her. The thought excited me about having a boy and a girl. Although, I hope neither of them gets my mouth... we do not need two with a bad mouth.

Laying on the couch watching cheesy Christmas movies that I have come to be addicted to, Mom runs her fingers through my hair as my head lays in her lap. Since we have moved here Mom and I have become much closer, and we have started to get to know each other better.

Christmas is this weekend, and I am already excited about the prospect of turkey dinner. Adrian had healed almost all the burns, and what he didn't heal, Sydney gave me an ointment that helped speed the process up. After a week the burns were faint and were healing nicely.

Dimitri and I set up the Christmas tree last night and it's sad to say that I have never decorated a Christmas tree, so Dimitri tried his best to make it special. We went all out, decorated the living room, hung stocking on the fireplace, even made a popcorn garland.

The best was the ornament Dimitri bought me, blown glass with a photo of the two of us standing on the beach in Turkey; Me perched on his back with my legs wrapped around his waist, planting a kiss on his cheek and him smiling happily. When I saw it, I teared up, hugging him tightly and thanking him over and over for it, expressing my love for it.

Watching the T.V. and laughing at Jack Black and Kate Winslet, I readjust my position on the couch before bolting up right, my hand flying to my stomach. "Ohmygod!" I exclaim. Mom sits up and looks at me with knitted brows and I pull her hand to rest on the side of my stomach, praying I didn't imagine it.

Bump.

A small little kick against my mom's hand and a large smile plasters across her face.

"That's your granddaughter," I whisper excitedly, and she smiles back at me, still holding her hand to my stomach.

"We are not telling Dimitri that you were the first one to feel the babies, he will be crushed!" I say to Mom hopping up from the couch and walking quickly out the door, only dressed in my leggings, sweater, and slippers. Snow blows around me as I hurry down the road towards my parent's house, our little girl still squirming away against my side.

Bursting through the door and startling the Guardian waiting at the stairs, I bolt up the stairs calling out Dimitri's name. Making my way to Abe's office, I open the door to see him, Pavel, Adrian and Dimitri standing at the desk, all of them turning to me.

"Kiz what is it?" Abe asks, walking around the desk.

"The baby's moving!" I squeal, padding towards Dimitri and taking his hand, placing it on my side where our baby is moving. I hold his hand there for a moment and watch as pure joy crosses his face. I look over to Abe and see he is smiling at the two of us, and I am a little shocked. He's wearing jeans and a knit sweater. Everyone, Hell has frozen over, and I do not mean Hell, Michigan.
