Lumabas ng restroom ng hotel si Julie. Puro mga estudyante din ang nakikita niya pati na ang iba pa na mga guro na nandoon.

"Yo Julie!"

Tumigil siya sa gitna ng paglalakad nang makita ang lalaking palapit.

"Kiko hi!" She greeted with a small smile on her face. Nakipagbeso sa kanya si Kiko. She took a good look at him. He brushed up pretty well, he was wearing a powder blue suit matched with the pants.

"Hanap mo si Elmo?" Tanong naman sa kanya ni Kiko.

"Hmm? Uhm, kakalabas ko lang kasi ng restroom." Julie answered as she looked around the hall.

Wala na kasi si Elmo at Kyline kung saan niya huling nakita ang dalawa. But that was understandable since Kyline was probably greeting people here and there.

"Wala ka date?" Julie asked.

Kiko smirked in answer. "Marami babae dito. Malay mo may mauwi ako mamaya."

Napaikot ang mata ni Julie sa sinabi ng lalaki. Ugh men.

Catchhing her eye-roll, Kiko jut laughed. Sakto ay may dumaan na waiter na may isang tray ng drinks kaya kumuha silang dalawa.

Tahimik nilang ininom ang drinks. And Julie was really absent minded. She was still thinking about the conversation she heard.

Iisa lang naman siguro ang Elmo sa party na ito diba? That was the benefit of her boyfriend having an unusual name.

But it was a bad thing too.

Dahil ang conversation lang naman na sinasabi niya ay isang babae na sinasabi na ipinagkasundo ito sa Elmo niya.

"Huy."

She snapped back to her reverie when she felt Kiko nudging her arm.

"Huh? Sorry ano yun?"

Napangisi si Kiko sa kanya. "What has you so worked up?"

Julie opened her mouth to speak up when she felt someone gripping her arm.

"Didi you're here I've been looking everywhere for you." It was Elmo.

Nang makita ang muhka ng nobyo ay mas naisip pa ni Julie Anne ang narinig na usapan kanina lang.

She cleared her throat.

Saka naman napatingin si Elmo kay Kiko.

The latter smirked. "Hi pare."

Kunot noo na tiningnan ni Elmo si Kiko pero sumagot naman. "Pre..."

Julie breathed in and plastered a small smile on her face. Inikot niya ang braso sa braso ni Elmo.

"I think the program is about to start, let's go."

Elmo quietly nodded his head. He wrapped his arm around Julie's waist and they started walking away while subtly nodding to Kiko who only raised his glass to them.

"Bakit mo kausap si Kiko?" Elmo asked, his eyebrows furrowed at Julie while they headed for a table.

Tiningnan ni Julie Anne ang nobyo.

"Ano problema mo?" She asked.

Nawala naman ang simangot sa muhka ni Elmo at saka ito napabuntong hininga. Umupo na sila sa isang tabi.

Elmo reached out and held Julie's hand in his. "Sorry Didi alam mo naman nagseselos pa din ako sa kanya." He whispered.

Julie rolled her eyes and softly squeezed Elmo's hand in hers. "Sino ba mahal ko?"
