The plan goes by. Si Keena ang nagbantay kay Papa at pumunta ako ng office. I don't know what I'll do kapag nandoon na ako. Naghahalo iyong kaba at nerbyos sa katawan ko.

Bakit ba kasi ayaw akong tantanan ng problema?! Malaking benefit ba ang nakukuha niya sa 'kin kaya gustong gusto niyang nags-stay?

I went inside of the building at agad na pumasok sa elevator. I wasn't in the mood to greet people but it's the company's will kaya pinilit ko nalang iyong sarili ko na ngitian iyong mga nakakasabay ko na papasok din.

Today's another day but for me, it's the same as the previous daysㅡfacing several problems. Hindi na ako nagtataka kung mas lalong lumalala iyong problema ko habang lumilipas ang araw. Gusto ko nalang sanayin iyong sarili ko na ganito na ang mangyayari sa akin habang buhay, e.

Para bang wala na akong palag kung maghahanap pa ako ng solusyon kasi ang ending, wala naman akong mapapala at mas madadagdagan lang 'yong problema ko.

Nang makarating na ako sa floor kung nasaan iyong office ko, mabilis akong lumabas ng elevator at hinanap si Kaisley. Buti nalang at nakita ko agad siya kaya mabilis akong lumapit.

"Hi," I said, approaching her but she looked surprised nang makita niya ako.

"Kren... What happened to you? Natutulog ka pa ba? It looks like you're stress. Okay ka lang?" Bungad niya sa akin but instead of responding, ngumiti nalang ako ng peke.

"What was supposed to be the problem?" I asked, changing the topic.

"About that, let's just go to Mr. Salonga. He's been looking for you," She stated and began walking. Sumunod nalang ako sa kanya hanggang sa makarating kami sa office ni Mr. Salonga.

I bowed and greeted him as we entered his office. "Good morning, Sir," I said.

He just pointed the chair in front of his desk. Mabilis akong umupo roon at iniwan na kami ni Kaisley.

"Sorry to interrupt your leave, Ms. Yuchengco but one of your construction site project in Makati had broken down," He started.

Nahigit ko ang hininga ko sa narinig ko kay Mr. Salonga. I never expected na gigiba iyon dahil sure ako na earthquake proof ang ginamit na materials para itayo 'yon.

"What? That can never happen, Sir. I gave the best materials just to build that site," I defended but he showed me a picture of my site project sa Makati.

It is one of my major project and it turned into ashes that quick...

"Do you want to know the worse news of the day?" He asked. I never wanted to hear bad news, ever... But I needed to. I needed to for me to think a wise and effective solution.

"Many workers are involved in the incident. Marami ang nasugatan but luckily..." Pabitin niyang sabi.

"Walang namatay," He continued. Kahit papaano, natanggalan ako ng maliit na tinik sa dibdib.

"But we are in-charge of paying the hospital bills and therapies of the damaged workers. It's you and me on this problem, Ms. Yuchengco," He said.

I smiled a bit. "Thank you, Mr. Salonga. I'll owe you and the company a lot for helping me with this..." I sounded desperate for thanking him but I think that this is the best thing that happened today after all the problems I'm facing.

"I'll just talk to Kaisley to contact the families of the workers, Sir," I stated but he shook his head.

"We're already done doing that. For now, focus on re-building your site and have a meeting for your department," He said.
