Ika-sampung Kabanata
#ACWTFTDForgetMe
I didn't tried to ask him if where he'll use those boxes of condoms. I just remained silent hanggang sa makarating kami sa bahay.
I went out of the car at dumiretso sa trunk dahil pakiramdam ko ay kanina pa namumula iyong mukha ko dahil sa awkward na nararamdaman ko. Or maybe it's just me who's feeling this way? Ewan ko ba!
"Hey, Kren," He called me and grabbed some grocery bags.
I looked at him like I didn't felt any awkwardness. "What?"
"You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. Bakit mo naman natanong?" I replied, trying to be normal as I could.
"You seems quite the whole ride. Is something bothering you?" He continued asking. Hindi talaga siya natigil.
But instead of answering him, I walked faster hanggang sa makarating ako sa pinto at ibinaba iyong mga bitbit kong grocery bags.
I turned around and saw him bringing the other bags. "Dito nalang," I told him as he brought the bags down.
"You sure you're fine?" He asked again. He never stops!
"I'm completely fine, promise," I said, trying to smile.
He shrugged. "If you say so," He said as he was putting his hands on his pockets.
"Oh, by the way, thank you," I said. He smiled.
"Not enough," He demanded.
Napa kunot naman iyong noo ko. "What?" Naguguluhan kong tanong.
"Your thank you is not enough," He said.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arm. "What more?" I asked.
But instead of answering, he just lean the side of his face on me and pointed his cheek.
Nanlaki iyong mata ko sa gusto niyang mangyari. "Kapal mo. Bahala ka dyan," I said and then opened the door pero bago pa man ako makapasok ay hinawakan niya iyong braso ko.
"Isa lang." I eyed on him but he just smirked at me.
"Multuhin ka sana ng girlfriend mo," Panakot ko sa kanya but he just laughed instead.
"I'm more afraid of losing you," He said.
"Ang landi!" I hissed.
"Sa 'yo," He shot back but I just rolled my eyes.
I let out a breathe and then looked at him seriously. Luckily, he stopped laughing and began to look serious too.
"Okay, enough for the jokes. I need to go inside. Kailangan ko pang ayusin lahat 'to," I explained to him. He nodded.
"I better go," He said.
I smiled and nodded. "Thank you, again. Drive safely," I said.
He just nodded and smiled at me. Napatigil ako bigla.
Damn, I saw that smile years ago. From someone I really loved.
I turned my back and began bringing the bags inside but before I could get in, I heard him called my name again.
"Krenity."
I turned around and looked at him smiling. "Yes?"
He's about to go inside of his car but he stopped and looked at me seriously.
