After we enjoyed being at the park earlier, mabilis kaming bumalik ni Mr. Salonga sa kompanya at saka ako nag-out sa trabaho ng maaga. Hindi kasi pwede na gabihin ako dahil priority ko rin na i-check si Papa at Keena.

I was on my way back to the hospital dahil nag text si Keena na papunta na raw sila Tita Elie at Tito Emmanuel. Mabilis lang naman 'yong biyahe kaya hindi ako masyadong gagabihin sa daan.

When I got to the hospital, dumiretso agad ako sa ICU para tignan na iyong kalagayan ni Papa but I got sad nang makita ko na wala pa ring pagbabago; tulog pa rin siya.

Kinakabahan na nga ako kasi lumilipas iyong araw at mas lumiliit 'yong possibility na magising siya. But instead of thinking negative thoughts, pumasok na ako sa loob at wala pa naman si tito at tita kaya namahinga muna ako.

"How's your day, Ate?" Nakuhang tanong ni Keena.

I removed my coat and sat down at the couch near Papa's bed. "Exhausted," I simply replied.

Hindi na ako nakuha pang tanungin ni Keena dahil alam niya na pagod talaga ako sa trabaho. When I already closed my eyes, bigla ko na namang naalala iyong nangyari sa amin ni Mr. Salonga sa park kanina.

"Watching you is more enjoyable," He said, straightly looking into my eyes.

My forehead creased while looking at him. "Sorry?" I said as I acted like I didn't clearly hear what he said.

"Nothing. I said that watching the view is more enjoyable," He said instead.

I just nodded and didn't say a word but minutes after, nagsalita ulit siya. "Don't you have a boyfriend, Kren?" He asked.

I looked at him like I was surprised by his question. "I had," I said.

Napa kunot iyong noo niya and faced meㅡmore like interested with the boyfriend topic.

"Had?" He asked. "Where did he go?"

I nodded and smiled with pain. "Heaven," I simply said but it made me more uncomfortable talking about Alex with another guy.

"Oh. Sorry," He said but I just nodded.

"So you don't have any right now?" He asked.

I shook my head. "Why did you suddenly asked?" I asked.

"Nothing. You have the looks and everything but no one tries to date you?" He asked, being interested.

I nodded. "And I'm out of it as of now. You know? Career over love life," I said.

"Boys can wait," I added, rephrasing what he said to Paul a while ago.

"I know someone who's in love with you for years," He suddenly said. Napatingin ako sa kanya sa gulat ko.

"Really?!" I asked, still amazed.

He shrugged. "But he doesn't want me to tell you since he's been planning somethingㅡI don't know. I don't care either," He said.

Natawa ako ng bahagya. He's been really allergic when it comes love.

"And I don't know if this is right but I wanna take care of you, Kren but fuck, I can't compete with the guy who's been in love with you for years," He surprisingly said.
