Ika-dalawampu't Dalawang Kabanata

#ACWTFTDForReal

Alexander has been good to his work lalo na iyong pagma-manage sa iba't ibang sites namin around Metro Manila. I'm just very thankful that he's my workmate slash friend.

"Kren, I already talked to the clients earlier and I've also done a meeting with the boards."

I looked at him in his formal attire while holding a document.

"What was the result?" I asked. Top 1 siguro 'to sa batch nila.

"Fortunately, it was great. Most of our clients from Makati also wanted to have an early reservation once the site in Pasig is done," He replied.

Wow... Just wow. Sobrang galing niya talaga mag-handle. I just can't stop watching him talking like that. He's just too perfect for this company.

"Great. Have you talked to Mr. Salonga already about this?" I asked, still looking at  him.

"Yeah, before I got here," He simply replied, looking at me too.

"Do you still need anything? I still have free hours since the meeting has done early," He said.

I looked at him again and smiled. "Wala na. Thank you, Alexander," I said. It still felt awkward calling him by his name but I think soon, masasanay naman din ako.

"Okay. I'll see you after work, I guess?" He said, widening his smile.

Biglang kumunot iyong noo ko. "What?"

"Have some dinner with me?" Tanong niya sa malanding boses.

"For what?"

He shrugged. "Does it always need to have a celebration for you to have a dinner with me?" He asked.

"For me, yes."

"Krenity."

"Alexander."

He laughed. "Okay. For the biggest achievement of the company, I guess?" He said.

I slowly nodded. "Fine. But where? Can't be on long drive. Super pagod ako," I honestly told him.

"Where do you want to eat? Or if you want, let's just stay at home and I'll cook for you. Sounds great?" He suggested.

"Right. I forgot, katabing unit nga lang pala kita," I said, rolling my eyes.

"So, is it a yes? Your place or mine?" He asked.
