Toni Topaz POV

A ray of sunlight escaped through the curtain and warmed half of my face, making me wake up.

I rubbed my eyes to focus where I was and let out a sigh of relief when I realized it was my bed.

I broke into a satisfied smile and hissed lightly, listening to Yoshi barking in the room and the sound of his paws against the wooden floor soon started to approach.

The puppy jumped on the sheets and came with its tail wagging in my direction, offering tender licks to my cheek.

I sat up and stretched my arms, feeling each bone crack.

I picked Yoshi up and gave him a kiss on the head, "Good morning my love."

"Good Morning."

"What ... "

Before my question was asked, the image of a Cheryl wrapped in a white towel appeared on the bathroom door and the fright made me fall out of bed, making loud laughs from her.

I got up feeling my body hurt and put my hand on my head, probably anticipating the rooster that would sing later.

I raised my head just to show my eyes and Cheryl was nowhere to be seen.

Had I dreamed of her and fallen out of bed?

Well, that would be completely possible.

"What are you looking for?"

Her voice at the tip of my ear made me scream and jump to the side, hitting my head on the bedside table.

She was on my side and laughed with her hand covering her mouth.

"My God, what happened to you?!"

"I ask; what happened to you?! What are you doing here?"

"Toni, are you okay?"

"Do not know. I ... think I need some tea."

I got up from the floor feeling my head throbbing and crawled into the kitchen, looking for the kettle and trying to fit Cheryl's presence in my house in the latest events.

Okay, we went out to drink with Veronica and the girls, then we stopped by her house to look for something that I don't remember what it was and then ... well, there it is ... What happened next?

"Toni."

"Oh, my Holy Jesus Christ, stop appearing like that!"

"You get scared very easily."

"Of course! Have you seen how you move?! You makes no noise!"

"Ah .. sorry, I have had this habit since I was a teenager. You know ... running away from home requires a lot of care to keep your parents from waking."

She sat on one of the high stools and rested her elbows on the counter.

His eyes were a different shade. Flashy.

"Which planet are you on?"

"I think it was the two blows to the head that I gave today."

"Are you confused about what I'm doing here?"

I let out a nasal sound of agreement as I filled the kettle with water to put on the stove.

"It is not obvious? We had sex like crazy."

My hand weakened and the kettle escaped a little through my fingers, making me take a deep breath and calmly adjust the container on the stove to put the water to heat up.
