Knock knock...
I mumbled "Go away I'm asleeep."
My door pushed open.
"You sound very much asleep grumbler."
It was Mateo in his gravely deep voice.
I had my face into the pillow waving my arms to go. He chuckled quietly I felt the bed dip in as he sat down and the smell of his cologne was calling to me. I peaked my eyes to look at him.
"Stink I can see you. It's no good hiding."
I rolled over onto my back.
"How do you look that good on a morning when you've probably barely slept?? It's just not fair."
His lips curved slightly trying to hide his smile.
"Well being this naturally good looking its easy work for me." He'd given me an exaggerated wink. The fool.I sat up rubbing my eyes, then laid back down.
"So what's that important you needed to come in here this early?"
"Well number one it's not actually that early. Number two did you forget you did three tests last week. I want to see if you passed or failed."
"Ohh yeah I forgot. Can't you look for me."
I pointed across at my laptop. He got it out and started switching it on.
"Why are you so tired anyway didn't you go to sleep after I went?" He eyed me curiously.
I shook my head. No!! Because I was too worried where you'd gone. I didn't tell him that obviously he'd probably think I'm weird. Well let's face it he already does but more weird.
"Well you should sleep your eyes are a little red. Ohh you failed."
I sat up abruptly "I failed?"No no! I thought I did good last week.
When I felt the bed shaking a little I looked to find him chuckling away. Is he winding me up I grabbed the laptop. Yes he's winding me up I haven't failed at all. I got my pillow and started hitting him with it.
He found it amusing but pinned my wrists above my head pushing me to the mattress.
"So what is it you want then that you wouldn't tell me??" He asked in his deep tone.
Those blue eyes I could get lost in forever.
I glanced down between us looking at his body then gulped hard hoping my idea would go down well. Here it goes!
"I want you to touch me and I want to touch you." I admitted.
He froze, "I wasn't expecting you to say that. Uhmm..."
"Never mind. If you have to think about it, it means your unsure so don't worry I'll think of something else."
He released me realising I was a little hurt and pissed off that he had rejected me again.
"I'm going in the shower Teo."I washed myself trying to rid the thoughts of when we was completely naked in here together. I got out and dried off. Oh crap I've forgotten my underwear since I made a hasty dash to the bathroom. Ah well it's just down the hall I wrapped the towel back around me. When I entered my room I wasn't expecting Mateo to still be in here.
I sat down to my dressing table and started to dry my hair. I heard a pencil and I glanced at him through the mirror he was drawing me. As much as I feel gutted he rejected me I feel honoured he'd want to draw me.
I got up after drying my hair opening my wardrobe to look at my clothes wondering what to wear. I could sense he'd moved so I glanced over my shoulder. He was stood strong in the middle making my room feel tiny.
"Want to see?" He held up the sketch book.
I walked over to him then took it from him.
"You make me look like I'm actually pretty."
"You are. What makes you think your not?" He looked confused as I passed him the book back.
"Well.. you know why."
His rejection being one. Kids at school used to fill my head with negativity calling me ugly. I started to walk back to my wardrobe when I felt a tug on my towel making it fall to the floor.
I automatically tried to hide my body with my hands. I don't have the confidence without the alcohol. His breathing was raged.
"Don't do that... don't hide your body from me.""You really have no clue do you. You have such effects on men but you really are oblivious." He simply said shaking his head.
"How do you mean?" I asked.
"Put it this way my mates never shut up talking about you when your around. Sometimes I feel like I constantly walk around with a fucking hard on when your about, pisses me off my body reacting to you like that instantly. While I can't even do anything about it. I get nasty with you to push you away but you keep coming back. Yet here you are thinking your not pretty." Gesturing to me with his hand.
