Chapter 40

    The next morning I strolled into the kitchen where Jason was stood with Mateo talking quietly.
Lisa beamed at me "Coffee?"
  "Please Lisa." I smiled.
      I put some bread in the toaster. Then I felt Mateo's hand on my lower back as he put his plate in the sink. His touch instantly made my back tingle.
  "Not gonna wash it?" I raised a brow.
He smirked "Nah stinky I'll leave it for you to do."
   "Pfft... yeah. Do it yourself." I gently pushed his lower abs getting rewarded with a quick flicker of naughtiness over his eyes.

My toast popped up, I put it on my plate.
"Excuse me I need the butter." I said.
   "Eurgh..You farted stinker. So you should excuse yourself." He teased me.
   "Piss offf Mateo." I grabbed his arm but he wouldn't move. So I ducked under it to grab the butter but I noticed his knuckles.
    "What's happened to your knuckles?" The concern evident in my voice.
  "Nothing." He put his hands in his pockets shrugging it off.
"Doesn't look like nothing Teo." I tried to reach for his hands but he shifted away.
   He now wouldn't even look at me I knew he was hiding something.

"Oh he got into a fight with Tom." Lisa informed me.
   "Lisa shut up!" He scoffed.
    My eyebrows rose "Don't tell her to shut up. Why did you get into a fight?"
He was now glaring at me warning me.
   "I'll tell who ever I want and I said it's nothing."
   I held my hands up "Ok! Fine. But seriously don't bite Lisa's head off she's done nothing wrong."
Jason and Lisa looked back and fourth between us.

He walked out slamming the door. I felt a little awkward now he'd gone.
    I sat down and ate my toast. I started to text him then decided against it.
    I rang Jodie and asked if she wanted to come over but she was busy. I sighed. Well some day this was. Classes weren't on today because of some staff thing.

  "Come with me." Lisa grabbed my hand and bag leading me out the door. Jason chuckled seeing I didn't have a choice.
   "We are going to get pampered." She told me.
"Pampered?" I repeated wide eyed.
   "Yep come on I know the perfect beauty place."

     It was a twenty minute drive. Lisa told the lady on the desk we was having a back massage and our nails done. I was actually looking forward to a massage maybe it would relax me.
     We took our things off and lied on our fronts and waited for them to come in and work their magic.
I couldn't help but giggle at the men massaging us. They told us how beautiful our backs were. Jack who was massaging me had pretty good hands.. working into my knots. I felt lighter and brighter when he'd finished.
    We were sat having our nails done when Lisa came outright and asked if I had made a move on Teo yet. I stuttered trying to find words.
   "You both have this vibe when ever your in the same room. I've seen the way you both look at each other."
I smiled shyly, "I like him yeah. He's not a one woman man though."
    "Yeah your right on that one. You should lay it out to him. Give him an ultimatum. I think if anyone could change that, it would be you. There's definitely something there with you both."
I nodded maybe she was right.
   "For what it's worth I think you'd be really good for him." She smiled warmly.
   "Thanks. Not sure Lucy would agree though."
  "Forget her. She needs to get the message it isn't going to happen with him and move on."
    "Brutal but I guess your right." I giggled.
"I know I'm right." She declared.

    We went shopping and I picked up that dark raspberry silky dress. I wanted it incase I needed to dress to impress.
   We came in giddy with bags and bags in our hands busting through our door. Alarming Jason,  Mateo and Danny to turn around on the sofa.
    "Christ ladies where you gonna put all that!" Jason looked in horror.
We both laughed looking at each other.
     "Well it's funny you should say that Jason, because we was thinking of using some of yours and Teo's wardrobe space since you both like to keep your clothes on the floor." I gave him cheeky grin.
The lads erupted into laughter.
    "Like chuff you both are. You ain't coming in and out of my room looking for clothes every five minutes." Jason said.
