Chapter 39

    I had a power nap then decided to go to the shop for some goodies. I got Harribo's, some chocolate and pop. I stopped walking down the street seeing a dark raspberry silk dress.. it was gorgeous. I'll have to remember to call in and see how much it is next time it's open.

   When I got back to my room I called my mum. It felt like I hadn't heard her voice in forever. I was happy to hear she was ok and she surprised me telling me she had started seeing someone, she deserves happiness after all we have been through. I just hope he is as good as she says he is.
     I heard a knock on my door making me jump.. then Mateo entered.
    "I have to go mum, I'll call you back in a couple of days I promise.... Yeah love you bye."

    "Maths?" He said.
   "Ohh yeah I forgot." I face palmed.
"We can do it here.."

     We set too it... and I managed to take it in quite well. I kept sneaking pieces of chocolate into my mouth while he showed me different strategies.
