I woke up at 6AM. I did my morning routine and wore a black shirt and navy blue shorts. I checked Sayuri in my room para malaman kung gising na ba siya o hindi. She's still sleeping peacefully. I took my wallet and phone with me and went to the kitchen to get her some glass of water tsaka paracetamol, nilapag ko 'yon sa bedside table. After that I headed outside to buy some breakfast.

I made my way to the nearest fast food restaurant and ordered for the two of us. Tinatamad ako magluto ngayon kaya naisipan ko na lang bumili sa labas. Hindi ako masyadong nakatulog kakaisip kung sino yung Uriel na 'yon, hindi rin maganda gising ko. Naiinis ako kasi may iba palang lalaki sa buhay niya—I shouldn't be fucking upset about it pero what if she was with him sa loob ng tatlong araw.

I let out a sigh and got my takeout then went back to my unit. Sumasagi talaga sa isip ko kung sino yung Uriel na 'yon. Imposible na boyfriend niya 'yon kasi kung meron, she wouldn't go out with me. Manliligaw? Well, Sayuri is beautiful so hindi na nakakapagtaka kung may magkagusto na iba at manligaw sa kanya. But that means competition, marami akong ka-kompetensya sa kanya.

I released a sigh of frustration when I reached the front door of my unit. I was about to come in when my phone rang, I picked it up.

"Hello, Javier?" My mom called from the other line.

"Good morning mom." Bati ko at sumandal sa pader. "Why'd you call?"

"Are you free to join us for lunch?" She asked.

"I'm not sure." Sagot ko, baka kasi mag-stay pa si Sayuri kaya hindi ko alam yung isasagot ko. If she stays longer lulutuan ko siya ng paborito niyang pagkain. "Why? Is there something going on ba?"

"Wala lang." I heard her sigh, "I'm just bored in the house. Your dad won't stop blabbering about basketball, it's making me crazy!" I can imagine my mom rolling her eyes and cringing her face at it. But she loves dad, kaya nga sila nagkakilala dahil sa basketball.

I laughed at her, "Sige mom, I'll call you if wala akong plans."

"Okay son, take care." Mom hung up, I opened the door and saw Sayuri's frustrated face, she quickly smiled when she saw me. Napahiya siguro sa itsura niya.

I wanted to laugh at her pero tuwing naaalala ko yung pinaghintay niya 'ko for three days at yung Uriel na 'yon, nag-iinit lang ulo ko. Ewan ko ba bakit kumukulo dugo ko. Siguro hindi ako sanay na may ibang nagkakagusto sa babaeng dinidiskartehan ko.
